Sox eyeing postseason —in minors
That would be so cool. BTW, how did a Colorado girl wind up at a school like Illinois State? Usually that's a really local school.

Cheats Prop Bets
1) Ichiro's BA 2) Borchard's OPS (coming from me no less, but you can't suck enough to have a sub 600 OPS. Even though he does now). 3) Garland HR's allowed 4) Iowa (does not in the rankings count? ) 5) Freddy Garcia victories (tough one) 6) Thomas Jones Rushing TD's 7) David Terrell TD's 8) Ogunlye sacks 9) Loaiza's ERA (the higher, not better ERA right?) 10) Konerko GIDP's 11) Ichiro hits 12) Barry Bonds IBB 13) Willie Harris SB's 14) Wilson Valdez BB's 15) Billy Koch's ERA 16) Jon Adkins holds 17) Jose Valentin K's 18) Aaron Rowand RBI's 19) Arnie Munoz ERA 20) Carl Everett OPS

AL Central Farm Report
Agreed on the Sweeney front, and I'm one of the few on here. I wouldn't say fell flat on his face, but his first half was atrocious. For a guy that was called a God by a scout or some baseball guy on the inside, .283 just doesn't cut it imo. He isn't that great of a prospect. Next season is make or break time. If he doesn't have a great season next year, he isn't a great prospect. It's that simple. That's not me saying that he won't be any good, or won't make the majors, but he has to start producing in regular season ball (not Spring Training) before I think he is as good as advertised.

I was feeling lazy.

Exactly. I didn't really think of a ranking, but Lopez wouldn't be in my top 10.

Sox eyeing postseason —in minors
Haha, we so knew that his teammates didn't come up with BMac. Either he came up with that or that was from before pro ball. He registered BMac at Soxtalk before this season.

AL Central Farm Report
Basically what Rex and Cerb said sum up what I thought was wrong with the list. And Orionny Lopez at 7? Wow.

Jeff Bajenaru
Yeah, Adkins with more control. And Baj's ERA plunged down to 20.25!

Charlotte Knights: A Year in Review
Actually Reed started the year red hot in April. He just slumped horrible in May and June.

Winston Salem Roster
I'm just happy I got as much right as I did lol. Mieses, Amador, and An when he got demoted?

Winston Salem Roster
I so called it all along!

9/6 Games
It looks like they never got An which would account for it.

Baj
Baj threw too many strikes if that makes sense. He had a guy 0-2, threw away a pitch, and then gave up a 1-2 base hit. You just can't do that. I'm thinking maybe the catcher (I think it was Davis) didn't know his stuff too well.

Not noted, but...
I believe Majewski was posted about in the Pale Hose forum, whatever. Swisher's numbers this year are nice. No wonder he is a Beane favorite. .406 on base, .537 slugging, 103 walks. Over 100 walks with over 100 strikeouts. That's something else!

9/6 Games
Agreed. I was just using it as the closest guide. All I got out of it was that W-S is 1 player too many with An on board. Also, I feel like you are sending us on a wild goose chase like you know something that we don't! Besides, Jason is the one with all the contacts. I merely get the info from him. However, I could probably ask the contacts myself, results would be iffy. Best to just let Jason talk to them because they know him. Heads- BMac himself said that he is pitching Game 1 of the playoffs.

Kris Honel
And Pedro's lack of size has really cost him injury wise. He'd be in his prime still if it weren't for injuries, imo.

I have read multiple publications saying that with a good season he is a 1st rounder. The Trib and I believe some sports website.

9/6 Games
Their roster on milb.com is at 33. All of their other 4 outfielders other than Brice played today so they are on the roster. We know Brice is not taking up a roster spot. In the infield Amador and Myers are the only 2 on the roster that didn't play today. I'm pretty sure Myers is hurt. Amador hasn't played since the 3rd and he left the game after one at bat so I'm wondering about him. As for catchers Rosa and Garcia played today and Molina played yesterday. That's all the catchers. Miller, Lumsden, Murray, Hernandez, Whisler, Espinal, Wasserman, Pollok, Ray, Fabio, Reynoso, and Tracey along with Mieses (who we know is off the roster) are the only ones to pitch in the week or so. I think Jason Stumm is injured. Jeff Little is probably going back to Great Falls for the playoffs. He hasn't pitched in a while for the Warthogs. I don't think Julio Castro is even on the roster at all. Dizard pitched once for the Hogs and I'm guessing he is back off their roster. So that leaves Brice, Amador, Myers, Stumm, Little, Julio, and Dizard off the roster. That makes 26. I don't know how they are going to use An.

Zoom, you failed to mention Luis Castillo who is projected as a possible 1st rounder next year.

What really happened on 9/11
The President was in the Pentagon at the time and died in the crash. The Pentagon took over for him and covered it all up. It would explain his stupidity (a doll), and the aggression in Iraq.

Charlotte finished their season with an 11-3 beat down. Torres 3-4 with 3 runs. Campos, McNichol, and Orionny Lopez all hit pretty hard in the loss. The Knights finish the season 68-74. Box Score The Intimidators won their finale 6-1 behind great pitching from Charles Haeger. Gray, Lee, Daigle, Young, and Valido all had multi hit games. Kyle Kane and Juan Bello pitched solid innings of relief to seal the deal. Kannapolis finishes the 2nd half at 35-35. A late season fizzle took them out of the race for a 2nd half playoff spot.
