Ok I edited the list of people who are interested. Sign ups are still open. I'm thinking that I'll create a poll that has days and then we can narrow it down to times. We could have a few set times every week that people just go to the chat or send out PMs and gather people to play. I count 24 people interested so it sounds like we have a good crop to go from. Thoughts? Suggestions?

In limit you can only raise up to a certain amount (which would be the limit). In no limit you can shove all your chips into the pot at any time in the hand.

Brian posted about a poker website and I forgot of an idea I had a while ago that I never followed up on...a Soxtalk poker tournament(s). I suggest we play through pokerroom.com because there is no involved installation like party poker has and you can have custom rooms (unlike most other poker sites I have seen). I'm guessing we will have to have multiple tournaments because we have more than 10 people, but I can't see why we can't play multiple times just for fun anyway. OH YEAH! On my scoring scale that gets a 29. I don't remember anyone ever having a 20 or higher. Safe to say the best outing we will see from a Sox minor leaguer this year. That is unless BMac decides to top himself. On a different note...the Barons are tied for first with Huntsville (who they lost to today). The 'Hogs have won 8 in a row and are 13-3 in their last 16. They are 2.5 games ahead of Kinston. At 23-12 they have the best 2nd half record in the Carolina League. At 23-13 Kannapolis is 1 game behind first place Hickory. One month left to the season, the playoff races are on for 3 Sox affiliates.

Well Fields was allegedly told he would have a shot at making Birmingham this season. He has done well since scuffling early, which is natural for a rookie. I think it's possible he could see Bham, though I don't know why the Sox want to rush him along. With the way they are rushing him he could start the '06 season with the Sox. I would like to see the Sox do what you said though.
