  10. I know we have several list on favorite films here, but due to everyone's different tastes I thought I'd make a list brokendown by the Ten Major Genres. Try to list as many as you can... Here's my list: Action/Adventure - Raiders of the Lost Ark Comedy - Blazing Saddles Crime/Gangster - The Godfather Part II Drama - Raging Bull Epics/Historical - Lawrence of Arabia Horror - Dawn of the Dead (original) Musicals - The Band Wagon Science Fiction - Brazil Romance - Casablanca Foreign - La Dolce Vita Western - The Man who Shot Liberty Valance
  11. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 12, 2006 -> 10:13 AM) Blazing Saddles! [bart, with Jim, disguised as a Klansman, describes his qualifications as a villain] Bart: Stampeding cattle. Hedley Lamarr: That's not much of a crime. Bart: Through the Vatican? Hedley Lamarr: [smiling] Kinky. Sign here. Jim: [spotting Bart's black hands] How many times have I told you to wash your hands after a weekly cross burning? [Taggart whips off Bart's hood] Bart: For my next impression, Jesse Owens.
  12. Roman Catholic here...But I agree with comedian Rick Reynolds on Catholicism: I'd attend church more if they used fudge instead of a communion wafer. "Body of Christ. With or without nuts?" (Hell won't be too bad, right?)

  21. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 01:49 PM) They deserve to be there.. Name me 1 SP and 1 OF that was better than them in their ERA? Roger Clemens & Barry Bonds/Ricky Henderson/Dale Murphy (2 MVPs)...
  22. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 01:36 PM) With their time in NY.. How many Rings did they help bring to both the Mets and Yankees? Might I also add that Doc Gooden NEVER won a post-season game?
  23. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 01:36 PM) With their time in NY.. How many Rings did they help bring to both the Mets and Yankees? Does that mean Juan Uribe warrants consideration? They had some very good years with the Mets and ok years with the Yankees. Granted Doc Gooden had a no-hitter with the Yanks. But they were highly inconsistant the majority of their careers, never sustained a high level of play for a considerable period of time and their career numbers rank low amongst their peers.
  24. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 01:24 PM) Darryl Strawberry and Doc Gooden got snubbed, they should be in.. as should Rose.. But, I guess we keep out those who knew how to win. Pete Rose is always a debatable subject with good argument from both sides... But what exactly have Doc Gooden and Darryl Strawberry done to warrant HOF consideration?
