At least I didn't get an Anderson 44, as that would have been worthless now too.

I see Gavin ultimately in the fifth spot but that's just me.

Best albums of the year.
I like rock and I've been known to dabble in the hippity-hop.

McCarthy Traded to Texas
There's no one that really deserves the fifth spot right now. Someone will have to earn it.

According to the Sox website, Masset took BMac's spot on the 40 man.

McCarthy Traded to Texas
QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Dec 23, 2006 -> 07:47 PM) Haeger should be our new fifth starter. You're a gambling man, aren't you?

McCarthy Traded to Texas
Anyone think the Sox will use the acquisition of Danks as leverage in a future drafting of his little brother?

Some thoughts on the trades so far
QUOTE(retro1983hat @ Dec 23, 2006 -> 06:49 PM) I have absolutely no problem with this trade if and only if KW acquires a LF, CF and SS. As of right now, we have none of these. We all wanted Pods gone, BA has proven he can't hit in the bigs and Uribe had two good weeks last year. He proved he can't hit in the bigs? That .250+ mark in the second half of the season sure proved that. I'm sure no one else on our team ever had issues their first year. It's pretty damn clear that KW is comfortable with BA in CF.

I'm finally home. While I'm unsure about the 5th spot, there were obviously differences between BMac and Ozzie or KW, and I'm excited to see Danks and the others.

Griffey hurts himself
It's crazy, he's got 563 home runs, and he's still a "what could have been" guy. He was always one of my favorite players, because he made the game look so easy...

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 22, 2006 -> 02:18 PM) I count seven... I copied that out of a premium article....so it's not my eff up, so shhh.....and check your inbox. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Dec 22, 2006 -> 02:33 PM) you will need more than one player for that....we have a plethora of big boys coming in, nd 2008 here we go. Fizer was the only five-star recruit in school history to ever suit up at Iowa State. I think we've proven we can beat you guys with less. Either way, would you rather Kansas State or Mizzou was the other team at the top of the North? At least Iowa State has been near the top of the basketball world in the past 10 years.

He's playing with ***** Craig Brackins who is coming to Iowa State......the player he says he most looks up to. The Cyclones have been tied with Brewster and a few of their players. Let's see if McDermott can close in on this one. It'd be pretty sweet to give Kansas some competition in the North again.

It's a shame. Still one of the prettiest swings I've ever seen.

Bajenaru a diamondback minor leaguer any interest
There's something to be said for rooting for one of the good guys.

Arizona, Iowa, Iowa State, UConn, Miami, Illinois and Indiana are the five schools in the running for ***** SF Emmanuel Negedu. We have fans of four of those teams here, at least, so this one should be fun.

A few of us were high on him after meeting him personally or after getting the chance to talk with him...
