His replacement is sitting in Charlotte. His name is Chris Stewart. Good defensive catcher (don't let the passed balls fool you.....Haeger has a ton to do with it) and his bat hasn't been too bad the past couple of years. He's FutureWidge....and I jumped on his bandwagon before anyone else. From what I saw of him in ST, he didn't look out of place.

What's scarier? That Soxtalk has a pop culture or that Kalapse influences it?

Actually, it makes me think about how much people hated Joe Crede before last year. Now, is there ANYONE ELSE on this team you want up at the plate in a clutch situation. I love Thome, Konerko and Dye, but, man, give me Joe Crede at the dish and I'll feel most comfortable. Who woulda thought we'd be saying that in 2003?

Anyone know anything about Milwaukee PG Diante Garrett? ISU is supposedly the frontrunner. For the next year's recruiting, we've got 4-star Brackins, and it sounds like our other targets are Jon Leuer, Andre McFarland, P'Allen Stinnett and this Garrett guy. But....we only have 3 schollies for the last 4. I'm just hoping one of them goes to Leuer, sounds like ISU leads for him.
