Knights Roster
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Apr 5, 2006 -> 01:28 AM) They'll be MUCH better than last season. Are you saying there was a chance they could have actually been worse?

Cael Sanderson new ISU wrestling coach
Right now both state schools are still way behind Oklahoma State.

Sox vs. Indians - 4/5 Game Thread
The Continuing Fall and Decline of Mark Buehrle. I realize we banned him long ago, but go stick it where the sun don't shine, C. Rector.

Catch-All Anything Thread
So, the Hardee's commericals are pissing me off some. I don't need to hear people eat. Also, I want to use this time to tout two rather great-working medicine type things, being that I'm sick. Flonase seems to combat some of my worst hay fever while even taking just a half dose. Is there anything better than a Ludens Throat Drop? I mean, I like the Halls Fruit Breezers as well, but that classic cherry flavor can't be topped. Just sayin.

Sox vs. Indians: 4/4 Game Thread
Wow, people have flipped to b**** mode early this year.

let's talk about this horrid radio tandem
I guess I'm the only one, although I'll admit I didn't hear him a whole lot, who didn't want to bang Rooney on account of his voice.
-
Sox vs. Indians - 4/5 Game Thread
Oh, I don't plan on doing this too often during the year.

Sox vs. Indians - 4/5 Game Thread
Hopefully I don't need to start too many game threads in the future. Trying to push my game thread record to 16-1, 2-0 this year. A series win is important to start the season.

Who do you think is going to be playing at B-ham?
You, sir, have not gotten enough Mike Myers and Rob Sasser yet

Boone Logan
He's been a rookie leaguer the last few years, which is the lowest level on the totem pole. He had little success until he changed his throwing motion. He now comes at the batters from kind of a 3/4 angle and was by far the most impressive LOOGy candidate this spring, posting an ERA of somewhere around 0.75 in like 11 innings. He's still young but has handled himself well for someone with limited rookie and A ball experience.

Final Four
QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Apr 4, 2006 -> 02:00 AM) Rock Chalk Jayhawk How'd that work out for you in this years tournament? Next year, Kansas will be the first one seed to fall in the first round, to the Belmont Bruins. I know the Jayhawk nation will be nervous against another B-B team. Then again, I'll probably be watching NIT action, so I can't talk.

Kap's the only one with control over that right now.

Just another reason not to trust Canada.

Bash Brothers Sig
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 06:25 PM) Looks kind of wierd because to the Right of Thome and to the left of Paulie, the pictures are not fuzzy like the rest. The text should probably FIT in the actual sig and you should probably consider some borders. Other than that, ya know, I'd make out with it.

Why isn't the users viewing a thread list showing?
I think kap probably did it. I haven't looked yet.

Few thoughts from the game
Welcome aboard Tribe. We've had great chats with Cardinal and Marlin fans, for example. It'll be nice to get your input.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 05:49 PM) I can't even remember how I discovered Soxtalk. Probably by mistake.

The search function allows you to view previous posts and that is still down. We're sorry, but it hasn't gotten fixed yet.

Beat the Streak(White Sox version)
QUOTE(Timoperezrulez @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 02:58 PM) It would help if I had some help from a mod or something. We've got our plate full with the two current contests.

Thornton last night.
It was also his first game for a new team who happened to be on national television while coming off a world series. The K from him and no walks were by far a better sign.

CORE OF THE CORE - 4/17 Update
http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?ac...pe=post&id=4899 ^Form Turnout is kind of low at this point. Only 70 or so are in. I'd try to make it if I didn't live in a different state, but y'all have til April 21st to do so. If you have any questions leave them here, but Gage will send an autographed picture to any one that goes and requests the picture.
