Losing Rooney Crushing for Sox Fans
The Score should hire Gage. You can't spell words wrong on the radio.

How's your bracket?
Now if UConn and Nova win I will have went 3/4, which is pretty damn good considering my Sweet 16 collapse. You and I were some of the few with UCLA wisdom.

QUOTE(WCSox @ Mar 25, 2006 -> 06:09 PM) Because your football team hasn't won a conference title or a nationally-televised bowl game since dinosaurs roamed the Earth? Or since 2004.

Huggins to K-State?
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 25, 2006 -> 01:03 PM) Good to see he came to his senses and came back to Pitt. Or are they f***ing with you yet again? f***ing with me tends to be more of an in-season issue.

Huggins to K-State?
There's no goddamn reason ISU can't be a tourney team if Will and Curtis return. Stuff like this from reputable sources helps: John Neal was a senior on this years team. ISU would be returning everyone, and would get one of the top players in Minnesota plus Lawerence Westbrook, scoring leader in the nation 2 years ago. With McDermott at the helm, ain't no way we shouldn't win 20 games with those two back.

myspace.com question
I've got one, I dunno, just to acknowledge my existence. Blame Gage.

SnR IS BACK!!!!!
CK, who's all gonna be on?

Washington DC Regional
I have UConn winning it all, but they better be damn careful, as GM is the most dangerous 11 seed to come around in a long time, and I could very easily see George Mason in the Final Four......which seems weird.

This is why I miss you at times Murc.

Washington DC Regional
And the regional final is the much-anticipated matchup of UCONN and George Mason.

Cyclones now getting some better news....
QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Mar 24, 2006 -> 05:53 PM) In other news, Mcdermott used the crapper twice this morning and forgot to wash his hands the second time. To be fair, he's smelling like roses for now. The thing I'm worried about the most is he says he'll recruit nationally if he has to. That's scary, cause you don't win the Big 12 with Iowa boys.

They wouldn't be getting their hands on Cunny anytime soon.....

Iowa Football Investigation
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 24, 2006 -> 03:47 PM) Maybe it did, but I wouldn't consider it one of the five best rivalries in college basketball. The top two that come to mind for me are: UNC - Duke IU - Kentucky It's not a top 5, but that's how Iowans voted it. A win at Phog Allen is at least 17 times more satisfying than one at Carver Hawkeye. Football's different, because we were so bad for so long, and because Iowa dominated us for so long, it's more like retribution. The two sports are different beasts. Then there's wrestling.

QUOTE(BabyJesus69 @ Mar 24, 2006 -> 02:39 PM) the inferiority complex is a good place to start... there is no 'superiority complex' in iowa city. it's obvious that isu fans haven't realized yet that hawk fans don't care about them. we've got bigger fish to fry, whereas iowa state's football season peaks in september when it plays iowa. isu's bball season peaks with the iowa game also. both were in plain display this year. I'm getting lectured by a Hawkeye fan about the bball season peaking early. I do believe the ISU-Kansas basketball games were voted the biggest rivalry on ESPN SportsNation. And why would we have an inferiority complex to Iowa in athletics? We've been faring quite well, head-to-head. And don't even get me started on the dirtiness of college football programs. I've had friends who have alledgedly seen Drew Tate being handed assignments for his classes in the library. I have no idea how half the football players here pass. It's called D-1 football. I think you'll see with the hiring of Pollard a much bigger emphasis on the conference season in sports. That's why the Colorado football game was the most exciting game of the year last year. Anyone who went to both that and the Iowa game is lying if they said otherwise.

How's your bracket?
QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Mar 24, 2006 -> 11:23 AM) Completly busted. All Final 4 teams out Who in the hell did you have? I still have 3 of my Final Four teams. UCLA helped me out a bit there. I kinda felt alone on that pick.....

Non Roster Invitees...
The Sox have to be one of the few teams who's NRI's has grown susbstantially throughout ST. Now at 33....now I may just be going senile, but doesn't it seem like we've got a s***-ton of no-talent scrubs as opposed to usual?

Bruce Levine: "Sox interested in Juan Cruz"
QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Mar 24, 2006 -> 12:36 PM) I'd be pissed. As would I....beacuse the moniker "prospect" seems like 5 guys as of right now. I think the farm's been gutted enough. When people ask for the Sox top ten prospects....it's hard to find 10 up and comers. I don't envy Gage trying to pick 25. And he did 50 back in the day....

Soxtalk and YASNY featured in Sports Illustrated
I doubt many people disagree.

Good pick-up for XM.
I had seen them on TV before. Not too bad but I think the duo has to grow on you.
