Reports have stated the baby has been named "Rally". This was decided on when the baby girl came out with muttonchops, a goatee and a short mullet.

If the Sox win and Indians, NY or Red Sox lose
QUOTE(Wiredawg1 @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 12:32 PM) I can't believe you guys can't see the difference and the irony. The man didn't have some arbitrary injury. He was beaned by the so-called best pitcher on your staff. Who just so happens to play for the team that we are now 2 games behind. It should have never happened. And nobody can tell me that it was just an accident. Burhle is not known for his wildness. I know baseball teams have to deal with injuries year in and year out, but that one was without a doubt a season changer for the tribe. One last thing. I am grateful to be even aguing these things with you guys, because of the emotion, it means there are good things at stake here. Buehrle isn't our best pitcher now. The new guy starts tonite.

Conservatives now control all top positions at PBS
QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 09:42 AM) Why are women's feet smaller? So they can stand closer to the sink Actually, I am rather saddened when we start dividing the world up into conservative and liberal. I really don't care who is at the helm of PBS. After all it is PUBLIC and liberals and conservatives are part of the PUBLIC. As long as they are good, decent, honest, hard working, etc. it shouldn't make a difference. Quit it. You're making sense and we cannot have that.

As an outside observer I see it differently, as I don't think the Blue Apocalypse has set in yet. I can't think Penn State is a real contender after watching the Northwestern game.

Let's play a game of "How will the Clones blow their season"....I'm an ISU fan, I'm used to it. Being at 3-0 and beating the only ranked team that had shown up on the schedule. ISU could and won't go undefeated. But just how will their hopes be deflated? Play along.... QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 26, 2005 -> 03:15 PM) Ya, there new running back has actually done a very good job. OSU just shut down every aspect of Iowa's offense. Iowa State did that as well, but without Drew date for roughly 3 quarters. I still say, Iowa has Tate and they would be 3-1 at this point. That being said, they are nowhere near as good as Ohio State or Michigan State and would get clobbered if they played them at home or on the road (maybe they could come close to MSU because I like Tate's ability to get in a scoring match with them and I think the Iowa defense has some playmakers and should gel). We shall see though. I think 8 wins at most for my Hawkeyes this year. Get over Tate's injury. He played like crap before he got knocked out. I have been impressed by Young and Schlicher more than anybody. Young ain't new, just unhurt. Until Iowa's D-Line stops getting pushed around, the Hawks are still in trouble. That and the fact the WR corps has disintegrated. I think Hinkel and Solomon have regressed. I'm just glad the heats being turned up on players such as Brian "I'm the coach's son, but hey, that doesn't mean I can't live on the state's dollar in subsidized housing intended for low income students" Ferentz. What a f***in joke. The guy from my hometown has cash out the wazoo but he was in the subsidized housing too.

Just on an aside, this stuff is neat to talk about, and more people should care, because I think a lot of people underestimate just how big an impact schooling makes.
