  1. QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 12, 2010 -> 06:47 PM) Iowa State would be a good 12th school, but they aren't consistantly competitive enough in the revenue sports to make it worthwhile for the Big 10. (Sorry, Heads/NSS) I have a feeling they'd be more competitive in the Big 10 than the Big 12. And I hope we're going balls to the wall to try and get an invite. On a side note, the ISU women's team is so the best team in the state. Probably 9,000 in the seats for an 11 AM start, crushing the #11 team 56-28.
  2. QUOTE (SnB @ Feb 12, 2010 -> 01:46 PM) i brush my teeth 3 times a day, floss, go to the dentist every 6 months....................and every god damn time I have a cavity. I'm relatively sure this means you are a horrible person.
  3. Pinned for the greatest player in Sox history.
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 11, 2010 -> 01:07 PM) Gonna be in Lawrence this weekend, and catching the Saturday night showdown between ISU-KU. Should be cool to check out what Allen Fieldhouse is all about, and would be even cooler to get to see the Cyclones knock off #1. But I won't be keeping my hopes up for the latter. Have fun. Boo Greg McDermott for me.
  5. JFP is a damn good #2
  6. Scared another team. Good for us.
  7. Mizzou fans, enjoy destroying Iowa State tonight. Also found this bit of interestingness posted elsewhere. After the 2005-06 season half the big 12 basketball programs replaced their head coaches. Here is how the programs have done since that time. Updated Feb. 7th 2010 Iowa State: Coaches - Greg McDermott Overall Record - 57-61 Conference Record - 16-40 Conference Titles - 0 Post Season - 0 Kansas State: Coaches - Bob Huggins and Frank Martin Overall Record - 85-40 Conference Record - 35-22 Conference Titles - 0 Post Season - 1 NCAA (2nd Round), 2 NIT’s Missouri: Coaches - Mike Anderson Overall Record - 82-41 Conference Record - 30-26 Conference Titles - 1 Conference Tournament Post Season - 1 NCAA (Elite Eight) Nebraska: Coaches - Doc Sadler Overall Record - 68-49 Conference Record - 22-34 Conference Titles - 0 Post Season - 2 NIT’s Oklahoma: Coaches - Jeff Capel Overall Record - 83-42 Conference Record - 32-24 Conference Titles - 0 Post Season - 2 NCAA (2nd Round and Elite Eight) Oklahoma State: Coaches - Sean Sutton and Travis Ford Overall Record - 78-48 Conference Record - 26-31 Conference Titles - 0 Post Season - 1 NCAA (2nd Round), 2 NIT’s How these teams finished in 2005-2006 before the coaching turnover. LOL, I read on CNN.com today that there was concern that Michael Jackson was 5-9 and 137 at the time of his death.

Well, now that Yoda's out there, I'll say I'm 5' 9" and typically go 137. My weight has fluctuated between 130-140 most of the last year.
  11. This thread makes me feel bad about my lack of working out. How's the last week gone, Ron?
  12. Odd scenario. There's now a small group of ISU fans that want us to dump McDermott and look into Billy Gillespie. And while I think he's a doucher, I also think he'd be worth a look.
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 7, 2010 -> 12:04 AM) Even with Sorgi instead of Painter, the Colts wouldnt have scored 30 points vs. the Bills It'd have been closer to 50. By half.
  14. Colts would have been 6-10 without Peyton, but 18-0 right now if Sorgi was healthy.
  15. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Feb 6, 2010 -> 04:32 PM) Your packin Alex? Very nice. You can finally say to girls "you can't handle me" even though your only like 80 pounds. I thought the fact that I even posted that was odd, but this reply is odder.
  16. Looked like we might beat a ranked team there for a bit. Not so much.
  17. ESPN2, Iowa State pinkout against K State at 1.
  18. It's always an awkward moment when your friends finally realize you've got a larger than normal penis.

    FAC!
  20. Not sure what you're talking about?
  21. I'd love to see him be in a Sox uniform forever. To me, he's earned that though, and if he wants to be done after 2011, we'll miss him, but it's his call.
  22. Badger fans, your new secondary coach is one of my favorite people.
  23. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 3, 2010 -> 10:35 PM) I just got the image of you standing over Poreda, Richard, Russel, and Carter and going "WE CAN ACQUIRE HIM. WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY" I try.
  24. I love JFP as much if not more than the next guy (hell, I MADE JFP), but this is Mark's staff, Jake has said as much. He's the face of the franchise, and he's as capable as any of our starters of locking it down.
