AJ's "Second Chance"
The more I think about it, cancer or not, this team may need some heart because we lost Jose and Carlos this offseason. Where does our heart come from without those two guys? Ozzie? I don't think so.

Cubs fans
This is sort of a sentimental answer but when the Cubs fans outnumber you, their insults will always get more laughs. I usually take the criticism to heart because I know that deep down inside I love my White Sox and hate the Cubs and nothing could ever change that.

Top 10 Baseball Photos of 2004
Ichiro talking to Sisler's family and Edgar's sendoff were pretty special moments that come to my mind.

Real or Fake?
I did this a while ago and got 14 I think. It's definitely in the eyes.

Reality Check
Most of the time pitching is more reliable in the postseason than hitting. Sure a team like the Angels can get hot in October but teams with good pitching (especially starting) have a better chance at winning some games. I look at what the Red Sox to the Yankees and Cards as a good example of this.

Earthquakes and Tsunamis in Asia - 225,000+ dead
Thanks 2k4, that gives me a better idea of what it was like. Still since that was Malaysia, I wonder what it was like for people on beaches in Thailand.

Sox Staff on ESPN.com
This is pretty amazing to me and I think the streak will be broken this season.

Earthquakes and Tsunamis in Asia - 225,000+ dead
It would take a very large nuclear explosion to cause such a tsunami. It's probably not too likely terrorists would conspire to do this when detonating one on land would have a much more terrorizing effect. Meteors, on the other hand could wipe out coastal cities throughout the Atlantic or Pacific depending on where they hit. This is a pretty good site about tsunamis in general: http://www.prh.noaa.gov/itic/library/about_tsu/faqs.html This link shows the (small) possibility of a larger tsunami in the Atlantic: http://www.newsmedianews.com/tsunami.htm

I find the anchor to be a bit overdramatic.

Earthquakes and Tsunamis in Asia - 225,000+ dead
I'm hearing after the first wave hit and receded, many people went to the shore to see the exposed ocean floor that they had never seen before. I also imagine there's tons of bodies they will probably never find. And at least 1/3 of the dead are children...

Jim Rome
For lack of a better word, I agree but he was so awful I find it hard say he "hosted" anything.

Earthquakes and Tsunamis in Asia - 225,000+ dead
52,000 now. Total getting close to the population of Schaumburg now. They are having trouble identifying bodies now because it's been so long.

Earthquakes and Tsunamis in Asia - 225,000+ dead
Millions of homeless, I can't even begin to comprehend how a relief effort will deal with that.

most reliable rumor source
Rotoworld gets alot of rumors from these sources and other newspapers. I don't think they really aim to be the insider source but they are very thorough and have good followup coverage.

Will you accept a NY fan?
I think we inherited the old Red Sox bandwagon by default.

X-Box Game Question
Thanks guys for mentioning Brothers in Arms. I thought we were looking at another MOH/COD engine ripoff but this game is totally built from scratch and the point and click squad command interface sounds awesome. Blood spatters look good too...

Former Packer Reggie White
Football players and especially linemen demand so much of their bodies during their careers. Reggie, you were far too young. RIP.

El Duque
I've always loved his windup, it was probably the most imitated windup by kids in America a few years ago.

Where's that pic of Tice last year in Arizona? I think Bones had it for a sig. Maybe it's time to make a new one.

Best Pitching Staff in the AL Central
I think our ballpark puts our starting rotation at a distinct disadvantage. I believe most of our pitchers were pretty good on the road last year. I don't have the numbers but someone feel free to look them up and back me up.
