I saw a low quality version of the video. There's no proof it is real but there's little reason to believe they faked it. The threat of more public killings and the number of American contractors in Iraq makes this alot scarier than the Daniel Pearl murder. It's not too hard to imagine them capturing and killing Americans in other places besides Iraq and Afghanistan.

I think it was in the recorded Joe Borchard interview, where he said it still boils down to the players. A manager can only excite a team so much. I believe Ozzie is only partly responsible for some of our early season successes just as Jerry Manuel was only partly responsible for our failures of the past three seasons. Depending on how KW and Oz go about acquiring players via trade, free agency, or draft we could see a totally different White Sox team take shape over the next few years. We certainly do NOT have the best team on the field right now for playing Ozzieball. I could probably even go ahead and say that we have probably one of the worst lineups in baseball for the Ozzieball style of play.

I had fun trying to figure out which definition worked best.

Cinematography = pick a blue filter for the rainy scenes, yellow for the desert scenes, and green filter for the palace fight scenes in hero. Action = Use OpenGL and draw an arrow, then copy it about 1 million times and draw a silhouette of a body with them. By the way prepare to be disappointed in how people die in this movie. Historical = Maybe, I am not to familiar with Chinese history but I think Troy will blow it away in the history department.

No Hero did suck. Crouching Tiger was way better. If you haven't seen it yet you probably should just take my and Crimson Weltall's word for it. I am looking forward to Troy and Harry Potter. Spiderman can go cry himself to sleep cuz he ain't getting my $7.

I think I am coming off my belief that the White Sox have a "good offense". Even though we have maintained the core of the 2000 team, the 2001-2004 Sox teams have not really had what I would call a good offense. We have the type of offense that can destroy you one day scoring 10 runs and hitting long balls left and right but we can get dominated by just about any hard-throwing RH pitcher with a good breaking ball. Javier Vazquez, Justin Miller, or that guy Waechter on Tampa Bay. This lineup has some problems that need to be addressed.
