I yanked the thread. At first I started to post on it about the problems with such a thread title, no matter how innocent the author's intentions. I won't even say who the author was but the thread title was something like "MAGGS JUST TRADED!!!" Rather than allow a flame war to start on such a thread, I simply pulled the plug.

Did Arizona keep most of Mantei's salary? Either way I see Jacque Jones as someone who made his living in the Roller Dome. His strikeouts/walks ratio is abominable and well, either way I'm glad he's out of our division. Mantei can suck on it.

I'm mildly impressed by this shot. Nothing special though. Why is Frank's number in black? Edit: On WhiteSox.com the Home alternate jersey has no number on the front. A new Frank Thomas one for $200 is also on there with a white # on the front.

XBox is a computer not just a video game system. XBox has better graphics processing and a hard drive. Hard drive means you need NO MEMORY CARDS. Hard drive also means with a mod chip you can install games directly on the HD, NO DISKS REQUIRED. You can download any game you want and just copy it to the hard drive of the XBox. Also can install linux on your XBox if you want and use it for other tasks like checking email, surfing the web or whatever floats your boat. I have a PS2 but just ordered an XBox because it wins in every department.

It's a question of quantity vs. quality. There are some high volume posters on this site. I won't call them spammers because the SPAM i get in my hotmail box is far worse than the stuff you guys post. Some people have made efforts to sacrifice quantity for quality like me, others have done the opposite. Which do YOU think is better?

The French and Russians had ties to Iraqi oil before this war, it's no surprise that they still want these reestablished after the fact. The US made it pretty clear before this war that we were going in and whoever went with us would have a say in postwar reconstruction. Apparently we are a nation that keeps its word and holds a grudge. Either way, something that intrigues me is a presidential campaign in 2004 where foreign policy issues will actually be IMPORTANT to the general populace for a change.
