  1. QUOTE(Sox It To Em @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:45 PM) Obviously, I meant that many runs more... And you also meant our bullpen is going to pitch two shutout innings.
  2. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:44 PM) :rolly Who else in the league has a change up like Santana? The McCarthy-Belliard at-bat reminded me of Cotts-Cattalonatto at-bat back in 2004 in the Sky Dome. It wasn't Catalanotto, it was a much s***tier DH-only guy who I don't think is playing baseball any more.
  3. QUOTE(Sox It To Em @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:42 PM) Well, the game isn't totally out of reach. Six outs to get three runs to tie/four to win. At this pace, I think you mean 11 runs to tie/12 to win.
  4. QUOTE(Whitewashed in @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 08:37 PM) I f***ing hate Belliard. He acts like hes Albert Pujols. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?...e&defid=1021730
  5. Seems like every time I change the channel, someone has scored three runs. Jermaine Dye might be our best 3-4-5 hitter right now.
  6. If you can afford it and don't mind the heat, definitely get a Macbook Pro. The whole PC vs. Mac thing will be moot soon as these new Macs support XP and should run Vista too (just make sure to avoid integrated Intel graphics). Hardware-wise, there is really no comparison. I've heard the black ones are more expensive and harder to find, but don't let that stop you. Notebookreview.com is your friend if you haven't met already.

    Spelling Bee

'wehrmacht' in the 8th f***ing round? This s*** is so rigged. How long have they allowed parents on stage with the kids? Also, why are they using the Windows ding.wav as their warning sound? They really need to make another Cheap Seats about all this.
  8. Contreras may have to pitch 12 innings to get a win.
  9. I noticed if I watch a Sox game with national broadcasters or listen on the radio, I don't experience as many emotional extremes as when Hawk is broadcasting. He always gets me so pumped when the Sox take a lead and depressed when we suck like now. It's times like these that I don't like listening to Hawk because he makes every Sox loss hurt that much more.
  10. Watching one of those Dateline "To Catch a Predator" specials and saw they used the screename 'snakesonagirl' in one of their chat sessions. gg, lured.
  11. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 30, 2006 -> 08:57 PM) Just gotta hope the Tigers lose so the lead sits at 1.5 I move for an elevated security level. I was not ready to lose like this again.
  12. Another one run loss. I think last year's team spoiled us. Mack what are you doing trying to draw a walk with the tieing RISP?
  13. Well, with any luck, we'll see a right handed reliever and get Mack an AB tonight.
  14. You might want to keep your panties on, that article is dated January 26, 2006.
  15. Tigers are nothing a little Johnson & Johnson couldn't solve.
  16. Ouch, Broussard with the Jose Valentin line today.
  17. Wow Thome is really paying back his debt in homeruns off the Sox back to Cleveland.
  18. I was just enjoying his performance in Die Hard last night too. RIP
  19. The scenes with Juggs were the best because they brought me back to our dearly departed poster. Other than that, the movie was your basic action flick full of one-liners and continuity problems. I'm glad I'm not a diehard X-Men fan, or this would be a three page rant of outrage over all the canonical violations.
  20. July 1st, 1987, Greg Walker hits a walkoff homerun off Eckersley to complete a sweep over the Oakland A's.
  21. Wow those 1987 Sox must have been pretty good.
  22. Kendall's SECOND strikeout of the series. That's gotta be a record.
