One of the few national baseball podcasts I listened to recently said they don't really believe Vaughn will get to all of his power in game, but they asked, would you not still take a guy who could hit .315+ every year with 25 HR, and an OBP around .400? The Show always puts out an updated Opening Day roster on actual MLB Opening Day.

Nah, the community will stay make them to provide edits. I think on the stream they said they did around 100 facial scans of players. That leaves almost 1400 players that didn't get scanned in, so their faces may not look that great. The community will do things like that. Also, it looks like single-A players are randomly generated. I noticed there was no James Beard, who is not much of a prospect in real life, but is it massive weapon in a video game franchise. He will be the first and maybe only Sox prospect that I will have to create or download from the vault. Maybe Dalquist and Thompson too.

We are getting a Cotralian (Cocker spaniel + Australian shepherd) in a couple of weeks. I've raised puppies before, but always while living at my parents, and while I had way more free time than I do now. It's overwhelming trying to think of all the things I need to get. The one I am curious about is stain remover. Any particular one you guys use? Obviously we are going to have quite a few accidents with our pup. Hopefully she keeps it off the carpet.

Any idea how they got around doing this without players being in the MLBPA? That was always the excuse for literally the last 15 years. that they weren't allowed to. Many minor leaguers have spoken out on Twitter about this asking where their cut is for SCEA using their likeness in the game....

I wanted P David Peterson. He has been just ok with the Mets so far. Threw 116 innings in AA last year.

Ugh. It's hard to imagine the Sox couldn't have matched that offer rather easily without affecting our immediate future. Matthew Thompson would be the easy comparable to Brennan Malone in that deal. It's harder to find a good young SS in the Sox system, but considering the Pirates desperate need at catcher, I feel like Thompson, Collins, and maybe a Bryce Bush could have been enough? Or swap out Bush for Bailey?

Nintendo Switch is cool, and something I would totally be all over as a kid, but I just don't play games enough anymore, especially on the go. Holy shit. That looks far harder than normal video game fishing. Plus, I am not playing with any buttons. All I have is a touchscreen. I was able to get the bobber to vibrate and wiggle like something was nibbling, but I never got any sort of prompt beyond that like in the video. No exclamation points, no "HIT" message. Just endless vibrating of the bobber incrementally. Hmmm

I went fishing and had no idea how to catch a fish. There seem to be no tutorial, which is weird because I definitely would not have chose to deactive tutorial mode. I get the fish to apparently bite, but no idea how to reel it in. I admit, I was using my phone to watch the NFC Championship game at the same time though, so I wasn't able to just google it while I was playing. I eventually just gave up and went back to my crops.

Yup. And I just played tonight and someone robbed me after I passed out. They keep telling me to go buy a backpack, but a backpack is $2000 and I have $405. lmao. No idea how to make money. Finally figured out how to plant crops, but then a crow destroyed one, and then grass overgrew a couple of others. I honestly think this game is way too deep. I am a bit overwhelmed at how many game systems and how long things are going to take to get going.

Oh fuck....now I need the dog. The only gameplay mechanic I hate so far is that places have business hours and that when my guy is tired I have to walk all the way back home. Does he eventually get more places to sleep or a bike to ride or a quick travel option?

Stardew Valley is actually a pretty huge game. I started playing it in my car last night and was surprised how big the world is and all the in depth gameplay mechanics and level up system. I honestly thought it was a super basic farming game. I might be spending a lot of time in my garage sitting in the car playing it. ??

It still operates as a bell and you can still view live footage. Just no recordings. $30 a year gives you 60 days worth of recording. I think you might also lose access to the Neighbors part of the app if you don't pay $30 a year, which is helpful to share strange activity or crimes near you.
