Fantasy football advice thread
QUOTE (farmteam @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 11:23 PM) In related news, not really happy with DeMarco Murray as my #2 back. Hopefully Mendenhall's knees hold up and he's decent for me out of the flex. Neither am I. My "projected points" are the lowest in the league, and we had 5 guys on autodraft. My top 2 RBs are Ridley and Murray.

Technology catch-all thread
QUOTE (G&T @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 10:43 PM) So have you called the school's IT to figure out why it's not working? Not yet. I'm not counting on them having any idea what to do, but I guess it can't hurt to call them. I have a buddy coming over right now so we can try it through his laptop.

Technology catch-all thread
Got my 50 ft ethernet cable in, hooked it all up, tried every single one of those 7 or 8 programs I downloaded...... none of them allow either my PS3 or my Chromecast to connect. f***. Connectify is the only one that at least gives me a WiFi connection, but my phone and thus my Chromecast won't connect to it. And my PS3 doesn't even see that WiFi network as an option. So then instead I try to connect my Chromecast via my computer that is hardwired. Nope, still doesn't work. What. The. f***.

Avisail Garcia is the truth.
Garcia has now stepped up to the plate 100 times in a White Sox uniform. He is hitting .344. Unfortunately he is also striking out 24% of the time while only walking 5% of it.

How comfortable are you rooting for the draft pick?
QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 4, 2013 -> 10:43 PM) OK, let's say we go 8-20 and we are playing gawd-awful baseball and Detroit is 20-8. Is it over? Do you start rooting for losses in May? No.

2012-13 Music Thread
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Sep 4, 2013 -> 11:06 AM) Lupe is alright. I like some of his stuff, I just think Kendrick is bringing a sound that is really going to resonate. Ive been wearing the s*** out of Yeezus lately. At North Coast basically every DJ was mixing in beats from Blood on the Trees. Also saw Nas, Wu Tang and Mac Miller. Next up Kid Cudi. I just can't get in to Yeezus as much as buddy who is a big Kanye fan too. I don't think it's bad, I just only a few of the songs. Most of them are produced really well, and have great beats, but I just don't like his tone on this CD. I feel like he is yelling and preaching through most of it.

Wish I had FXX, or just regular FX for that matter. I'll have to watch The League tomorrow. Catching up on the last season of Futurama right now.

How comfortable are you rooting for the draft pick?
QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Sep 4, 2013 -> 11:18 PM) http://www.mymlbdraft.com/MLB-Mock-Draft Start getting familiar Trea Turner! That top 10 will probably be completely different in 9 months from now, except for maybe Carlos Rondon at #1. Personally, I am hoping some stud 3B in college pops up. Pretty much another Kris Bryant.

How comfortable are you rooting for the draft pick?
QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 4, 2013 -> 11:20 PM) Just curious how early in the season in 2014 the draftniks on this board will start rooting for the Sox to lose every game. It's pretty damn annoying. So lets say we go 8-20 to open the year. Will you be rooting for all losses in May, June, July, August and September? Just curious. Ummm....28 games is entirely too early for that. And considering you never gave context for the other teams in our division, it's impossible to say. In 2012, we had a chance because Detroit was underperforming. In 2013, Detroit lived up to their potential, thus it was an easier decision for me to start rooting for losses. I stopped caring about this team winning sometime in June this year, so I guess ask me next June.

9/4 White Sox vs Yankees game thread
QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 4, 2013 -> 10:23 PM) Didn't watch the game. Did Johnson or Webb show anything of note? Anything to get excited about? Honestly, I wasn't impressed by Johnson. But he also looked really nervous there. I actually liked Webb out there more. He had some great movement on his slider, and was throwing 97.

Yankees announcers are complimenting Johnson on a great pitch to Cano, Cano just spoiled it.

Lol, I said in my head right as the pitch was coming, "I bet Johnson's first major league hit allowed will be a Cano HR". And then boom.

How comfortable are you rooting for the draft pick?
Should have made this a poll question. 1) Would you rather have the Sox finish the season 25-0, resulting in a 81-81 record and a #15-18 draft pick 2) Would you rather have the Sox finish the season 0-25, resulting in a 56-106 record and #1-2 draft pick

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 3, 2013 -> 09:25 PM) If we trade De Aza for nothing, like I fear, I riot. I'd trade De Aza for nothing, like, yesterday. Maybe we can deal him for slot money.
