  1. Kyle Hansen dominant for his second consecutive outing. Today he went 6 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K. Over his last 2 outings, he has gone 12 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 13 K. Joey DiMichele, 4/5 with 3 2B, 3 RBI. Ravelo went 2/5, and saw his average DROP to .487
  2. I have 10x more confidence for Game 7 than Game 6. Let's f***ing do this thing guys.
  3. Orphan Black, getting even weirder. I am going to catch up on Revolution tonight. Has this been cancelled yet?
  4. I say give it until mid-June, and if Phegley is still hitting .320+, with 15+ bombs, I'd join the bandwagon.
  5. Micah Johnson hit his 3rd HR. No SB tonight.
  6. Looks like The Borgias may end the series in 2 episodes, and then do a full-length movie to wrap up how pope Rodrigo Borgia will die.
  7. Did I see Beckham in the Sox dugout yesterday? When will he be activated?
  8. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 27, 2013 -> 07:55 PM) It would be nice to see Connor batting 2nd with that line drive bat he has. I've been asking for this for about a month, but apparently batting 2 lefties back to back is blasphemous.
  9. Among AL rookies, Conor Gillaspie ranks 3rd in WAR (0.8) behind Yan Gomes (1.1) and Justin Grimm (1.0).
  10. Bassit got slaughtered today. 5 IP, 4 H, 7 ER, 5 BB, 4 K, 2 HR Ravelo has gotten a basehit in all 10 of his games since his promotion to W-S. No power, but is hitting over .550.
  11. Game 6 is the last game of this series, regardless of the outcome.
  12. Gunner gone, Golson gone. I guess it's back to good 'ole Tommy Rees. Bleh.
  13. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 25, 2013 -> 10:41 PM) Johnson is definitely working his way into the 2014 Opening Day mix. I think Sale has that day on lock.
  14. QUOTE (Jake @ May 25, 2013 -> 11:34 PM) I still think Chone Figgins is a good comp for Micah Johnson ' Oh my god, where do I sign? That would be incredible.
  15. Fuming mad. If the Hawks lose Saturday night, I will be the most miserable person in that skybox on Sunday afternoon at The Cell. I f***ing hate this.
  16. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 24, 2013 -> 12:27 AM) I can't wait to see what kind of reaction the crowd gives Ozzie... Where are his tickets?
  17. I'll be there Sunday, sitting Skybox side.
  18. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 22, 2013 -> 11:56 PM) People still use Firewire? I don't understand it, but he's in love with it. I just spent over $110 of his money on 3 different types of 6 ft Firewire cables we needed just to hook up a newly purchased $210 mechanical switcher to go from CAM 1 to CAM 2. All that money because the Mac we are using only has 1 Firewire port on it. Apparently getting a splitter wasn't an option.
  19. QUOTE (bbilek1 @ May 22, 2013 -> 05:02 PM) Okay, I can see where he's coming from. Aside from following him on twitter, I have actually met the kid (when he threw out the first pitch at the Cell) and in person, he was actually very polite. Being another 19 year old kid I feel I can make a decent judgment on him but Balta is right; dissecting his twitter should lead to more of a first impression/perception rather than a final judgement. I do expect him to mature, all I am saying is he has plenty room to mature. FWIW, if I were him, and I was hitting .177 and striking out 60 percent of the time, I wouldn't be retweeting anything and everything with my name on it. Yup. Mike Trout retweets a lot of good things said about him, but he DESERVES them. Trout can go ahead and acknowledge his success. Hawkins should realize he is having a real terrible season outside of the glory stat, the HR. I think he sees all that love on Twitter and thinks he is doing something right and could be thinking "Who cares if I strike out 50% of the time, I am hitting home runs", and that's a horrible attitude to have. However, as noted, he's 19, so it's not a big deal. He'll learn.
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 21, 2013 -> 11:48 PM) Not if Santiago can't make it five innings or 100 pitches. 6 IP, 107 pitches.
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ May 22, 2013 -> 10:04 PM) Time to get Hector off the hook after this armsy performance.
  22. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 22, 2013 -> 10:02 PM) Why is Santiago still out there with almost 100 pitches to start the 6th? (Answer: because the back of our bullpen sucks and there are no better options than to play with fire). This is where someone will say we need "long-man/5th/6th inning Santiago" to get the game to Crain/Reed, lol. Yeah, and his name is Dylan Axelrod.
  23. Hector still hitting 94. My god, the stones on this guy.
  24. Santiago with 8 Ks through 4 IP. Took bad he has 4 walks though, yikes.
