QUOTE (Y2HH @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 01:13 PM) Don't you think it was just a ... you know ... a joke?! A personal joke at my expense. I see what you are trying to do here, but unless any of you here own Apple, then my satirical Apple articles that I post are not personal attacks in the slightest. And honestly, if I was truly that sensitive, I would have gotten mad about the picture someone posted of a big fat guy with a Zune logo on his arm, but it doesn't bother me because it's not a representation of me in any way, so I don't take that personally.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 10:54 AM) Does she know you've been cheating on her with your left hand? Nope, the left hand is a stranger. (wait for it....wait for it.....) -
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 12:11 PM) How about we start putting each other on ignore? There really isn't a need for this to happen in multiple threads. Hey, I didn't bring it up.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 12:28 PM) I thought his statement of 4 years seemed off, but I didn't care to look up the facts. Thanks, because your data aligns with what my brain interpreted. I just used the Boardwalk Wiki page I found online. I knew 4 years didn't sound right because otherwise Tommy would be like 8 years old, and the 1919 World Series fix wouldn't have happened yet in prior seasons if it jumped 4 years. Anywho, I heard that Van Alden and Capone interact a lot more this season, and I can't wait. Van Alden is very compelling.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 12:01 PM) Great debut for Boardwalk. Way better than last year's premiere, I think. Did a great job tying things up, reminding us of some things, and setting stuff up for the season, all at the same time. During the fight right before he went and boned the singer, Margaret alluded to how Nucky spends his nights with other women. I'd guess it's been going on for awhile now -- remember, we did jump forward almost four years in time. I like the introduction of O'Banion, especially since it appears Van Alden could begin working for him. I don't think that's right. S3 starts with the end of 1922. Season 2 ended in August 1921. It didn't jump 4 years, it only jumped 16 months. Tommy was born in 1917. It's now 1923.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 10:47 AM) To be fair, if by "finding" a picture of you online you mean a picture you linked to in your signature, then I guess you've got me! Also, it was funny. It wasn't a picture. You took a screenshot from a video that I made for a blog. The blog was linked in my signature because I needed page hits to get a good grade. Screengrabbing a picture from the video and photoshopping me in to a picture with Patrick Kane to try and make a point was very creepy. I'd report that s*** 10/10 times. You should not have apologized in the private message (that you were probably forced to send) if you didn't mean it.

QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 09:44 AM) Revolution starts tonight. I'm going to give it a shot. The previews sort of make it look cheesy...hopefully that's not the case. Pilot episode has actually been on Hulu for a few weeks now. It looks pretty interesting. I liked the pilot episode, minus 1 ridiculous fight scene.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 02:34 AM) Gonna be cool to see Van Alden become an enforcer. And RIP to Manny. You were just too cool a character to last. As soon as they showed the scene of him getting a gift from his wife, and her saying how lucky he is, I knew he'd die, but I didn't expect it to be Harrow. And then I remembered that Harrow knew that Manny killed Angela.

QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 12:39 AM) Blondes are a bad cliche. If you're a pro athlete, have a few zeroes before the decimal point on your paycheck, and somehow still ended up with a blonde, then you've done a bad job and there's no two ways about it. Huh? -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 16, 2012 -> 06:58 PM) That's an impressive amount of money. To clarify things, that would be the winnings in my survivor pool, if I had actually won it all. So POTENTIALLY that kick cost me $5500, but unlikely. Regardless, I am going to write down my pick each week just for "fun" to see how far I would have made it had he not choked away the kick. -

Oh god, I hope he's never heard this song and actually paid attention to the lyrics..... Ashley: "Sugar Daddy, I'm coming for you!" Poor Johnny. -
GOOD Music CD leaked last week. I've listened to it all 1 time through and it's pretty solid. Be warned though, all the songs that have been already released are a lot different from the other songs on the CD. The 6 or 7 that have not been released yet are slower paced, and nothing like Mercy or Clique. Anyway, so far I give it an 8/10. I'll listen to it more this week and see how I feel.

Boardwalk Empire S3 debut was solid tonight. I am totally forgetting why Van Alden goes by George something now. Did he change his name to avoid prosecution? Also, did Nucky really find out about Margaret giving all his land rights money away to the Children's Hospital and NOT flip out about it? Or is him banging that chick at the end of the episode his way of saying he is done with Maraget as a wife?

I'd like to congratulate Gostkowski for possibly single-handedly costing me $5500. f***ing great. I hate the Patriots so much that they can't even win when I have money on it. -
QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Sep 15, 2012 -> 08:43 PM) Oh, I thought he was talking aboout this thread in particular. No, definitely not.

QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Sep 14, 2012 -> 09:10 PM) Really? I've reported IlliniKrush twice for personal attacks (him and I aren't friendly w/ eachother), and Steve once for finding a picture of me online and photoshopping it on another picture and posting it here. There have been no personal attacks in this threat, I have no reason to report anything. So yeah, if reporting 2 people in my 6 years or however long I've been here because they've gone over the line w/ personal attacks, then I guess I go around reporting people...?

9/14 Sox at Twins

Come one Sale, the only way to win 20 games this year is to win the rest of the starts. It begins tonight! -
I think Sale should pitch tonight, but I also want to say that if the Sox DO happen to jump out to a large lead early, I'm talking like 7-0 in the 4th or something, I would go ahead and pull Sale. I wouldn't have him thrown 100+ pitches in a blowout win.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Sep 14, 2012 -> 02:05 PM) My friends are professional photographers, so I learned a lot from them. If you want to do something super cool with a camera, try this: Get a tripod, and do this at night. It's a long exposure shot, so when you push the button, you'll want to keep the shutter open for a designated amount of time, say 20 seconds. Make sure you don't touch or shake the camera during this time. Have someone take a flashlight of some sort, and tilt it slightly down, so it's not shining directly into the camera -- you don't want the open shutter to pick up direct light -- and have them walk through your shot, slowly, but not too slow, and wave the flashlight at the same angle as they walk (again, not shining it directly into the camera). When the shot comes out, the person walking will be invisible, and you will see a laser like trail of light (the flashlight). Experiment with this until you get it to work. After you get it to work, you can have someone sit in your photo (as still as they can), and then have someone do that same thing, and walk around or near them with the light...it will look like they have halos, or electricity flowing around their bodies. Just make sure whoever walks with the light doesn't block it with their own body. If anything can get a person interested in low light photography, it's this. If you do it right, this is the effect you will get: That is sweet. So the person w/ the flashlight is walking BEHIND the person crouching down, yes? What if you did a laser pointer that has a focused beam that comes out of it?

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 14, 2012 -> 11:44 AM) I have one floating around in my closet I think. Dell's software of that era (2004?) was way, way better than iTunes was at the time. I still have my Creative Zen Touch, and Creative Vision: M.
