Uggla is about to be traded to Braves for Omar Infante and Mike Dunn. Doesn't seem like that great of a deal for Uggla who is coming off the best year of his career. Despite being 30 and not a good defender, I figured he would net more than this. I guess not though. I wonder if this impacts the Braves going for Upton or not.

This thread depresses me. I was down to about 255 before I went away to school. Last time I weighed myself, I was like 268. I will be home in about a week, and I fear I will be around 175, which will be the most I've ever weighed in my life. I hate the lack of healthy campus food at the new school, and my lack of working out, and my new interest in drinking alcohol!

Keith Law has been doing a little series this off-season for positional Free Agents. Some white sox hate from Mr. Law.... He placed Konerko is his "In demand" tier of players, while he just repeated his comments about Konerko being a time-bomb, old, bad defense, and about to fall off the cliff. In his "Stay away" from category, he had Pierzynski saying he is old, slow, and can't get on base. In his "stay away" from section of starting pitchers I thought it was kind of funny that all 3 of the pitchers listed are ex-sox players. Freddy Garcia, Jon Garland, and Javier Vazquez are his 3 starters to avoid. He did however make note of Don Cooper in both Freddy and Garland's little write-up. It could have very well be sarcasm, but he mentioned that Don Cooper must be the best pitching coach in baseball, and then in Garland's he said "all-hail Don Cooper". Maybe he doesn't hate Coop, or maybe he is a sarcastic c***.
