I am so surprised he got out of that after 12 pitches. Whew.

Could it cost the Sox a win or two pitching Taylor in the first? Probably. Does that matter if they’re trying to give him consistent work to hit a certain innings count and prep him to be a starter? Not in my opinion.

2026 MLB Forbes teams values, Sox lose money for 6th straight year
I have to imagine when Ishbia takes over he's going to clean house with people like Boyer.

Just like we all expected - sweep the AL World Series pretty easily.

White Sox Winner 6-3
I'd be fine with that. He threw 36 innings last year so that'd get him into the 70s. Maybe have a few 2 inning outings to get him close to 100 innings.

LUIS ROBERT TRADED
I'm not an Acuna fan but I'm surprised people are like "OMG we could have gotten Vientos!". Guy is 26 with one solid season under his belt two years ago and is arbitration eligible next season. He'd be swapping CF Robert for 3B/1B Robert. At least Acuna is younger and can maybe possibly play CF.

Sox at Brewers 3/29, 1:10 CT
Real rough loss. Brewers are real good, at home, and seem hot at the start of the season. Let's see if they beat on the next team they play like this too. Hopefully just ran into them at the wrong time. Nice to see the offense wake up. Hope they can keep that momentum.

Well, the bullpen is a big issue this year again so far

Sox at Brewers 3/29, 1:10 CT
Eh I’m ok if they decide to hit 3+ homers a game

Sox at Brewers 3/29, 1:10 CT
Murakami can just hit a homer a game. I’m fine with that.

PCA is a big fat crybaby with a contract extension
Yea he's not, but he's got a pretty reckless playing style so I wouldn't be surprised if he starts getting injured.
-
PCA is a big fat crybaby with a contract extension
That's why I said he's a 3+ WAR guy even if he's not hitting. The issues I have with him are more potential injuries and his personality running thin.

Official 2026 win prediction thread.
Guessing low/mid 70s. Offense should be better than last year with Murakami and with some more experience for the young guys. Bullpen should be better. Starting pitching is the weakness and is where win variance will come from.

White Sox sign Reese McGuire, Korey Lee won't make MLB roster
🤷♂️
-
PCA is a big fat crybaby with a contract extension
I can see why they did it, because even if he's not hitting PCA is still a 3+ WAR player from defense alone, but also $19m a year for 6 years is a lot of investment for a volatile guy like him. This could very easily backfire and it sure would make me sad...

White Sox sign Reese McGuire, Korey Lee won't make MLB roster
McGuire must be somewhat useful and liked in clubhouses otherwise he wouldn't continue to find work after getting caught jerkin' off in a parking lot. Is Cal Quantrill still pitching? Hope we get a repeat of this https://x.com/barstoolsports/status/1816215259537105089 Otherwise I guess I'm not shocked to see this extremely minor news get to 8 pages knowing this board.
