Orioles last road win was John Means no-hitter … 18 losses since Diamondbacks last road win was Madison Bumgarner's 7-inning no hitter...22 losses since, tied for longest in modern era. They play this afternoon vs Kevin Gausman.

I’m counting 6 inn/ 3 er and 5 inn/2 er as quality starts. That’s 10 in a row for the Sox. 63 innings/ 14 er…2.00 era

Best record in baseball on the line tomorrow. But it’s June, so nobody gives a shit.

Weekday getaway day vs the Rays? I smell a perfect game tomorrow.
-
Feel good about this inning following the Rays not cashing in.

No DH at Wrigley.

The correct answer is “Allow a standardized substance”. Or change something about the ball material that will improve the grip. next year- 1st offense: one month, no pay; 2nd offense- 3 months. That would stop it.

Eloy, Robert, and Madrigal back on September 1st would be sweet. Right now, they really don’t need them to win this division. Get healthy, and don’t come back until you’re 100%.

Not really looking at it as “better”, but hopefully the starting pitching continues to put up quality starts, and the Sox play good defense. And obviously, the bullpen doesn’t blow leads.
-
Exactly. I’m really looking forward to this week to see how the Sox match up with two other good AL teams.

La Russa is probably feeling some relief after the hit. And no, it has nothing to do with La Russa. Any manager.

As long as the Sox stay above .600, I’ve kinda stopped checking recently. The Sox pitching is too good. (and that includes the Indians)

Gotta say, now that 7-inning games are here, if the losing team wants to quit after 7, go for it.

40 minutes on the bench for Cease

Happy about the win/worried about the bullpen. Not sure if they talked about the weather tomorrow afternoon, but it’s looking pretty iffy. Wouldn’t mind getting the pen a day off.

Hendriks runner on 2nd?

The rain in the area looks like it’s weakening as it approaches Detroit.

Just stick with CT if you don’t know the difference between Standard and Daylight time. CT will cover you all year.

Brewers sent down Hiura. Didn’t realize he was having a bad year. Tigers DFA Jacoby Jones. He was good for a minute during the shortened season. And down goes Scott Kingery too (he cleared waivers and is off the 40-man)

3 of 4 is always good, so let’s wrap this up with a nice shutout. Cease was phenomenal today.
