It better be a special trade for him to be moved. I'd rather he be in Charlotte at the start of the season while the team takes a step back in setting up for 2017. All of these band aid moves are more than likely going to be for incremental improvements that still won't get them to 88+ wins.

I like that question about a Draft Lottery. I'm all for it, with built in rules that would prevent teams from getting a 1/1 in consecutive years, or even a top 3 in consecutive years. Also I would like it so meaningless games the final weekend wouldn't impact draft order...especially when protected picks are on the line.

I only have one - Lawrie to the Sox makes a lot of sense. There's a need there, and a history of dealing with the A's. It's not usually one-for-one, so I'll pass on the whole guessing game. Should be a fun next 5-6 days.

Not an exciting move, but at least Flowers is gone.
