Any relievers on the Option bubble this year? Cleto and Surkamp free to go to AAA?

Keep in mind the schedule is heavily weighted with division games the first 5 weeks of the season--for every team. It's really important not to suck the first month, so if it takes stacking your bullpen to win more games in the first 30, it could be a good strategy.

Theoretically, they could get away with it. Bonifacio, Beckham, and Soto could probably cover it. Gillaspie can move over to first, when needed. I kinda like it.

I wonder if a day is coming where the MLBPA supports American-born players to make scratch like this. Or more likely...Moncada gets thrown in the pool to be drafted just like everyone else.
