I was looking forward to April 18 with Sale on the mound in Detroit...ya know, just to see what would happen.

Victor Martinez f***ed up his knee. 4-6 weeks. Never know how that will linger.

When stirrups are the norm again, that'll be a good day.

He started pitching in high school, and was drafted as a pitcher, so I'm not sure we can call this guy a convert to pitching.

I'll buy a blaster (a box of 8 packs) of regular Topps and Topps Heritage once a year. It's not as fun as it used to be when I'd get three packs of wax with gum in it for 63 cents, but some traditions are hard to break. I stopped collecting complete sets, but still get a White Sox team set each year.

25 is enough. And I hope the September rules become tougher. With expanded rosters, fine bring guys up...but turn in a 25-man roster each day that includes your four previous starting pitchers.

Not sure where he ends up, but I think it will end up being 3 years guaranteed, with a vesting option for a 4th.
