That isn't what he is referring to. He would have someone here to relate to. I feel they would become friends. Many of the Japanese players only go to markets which have a big Japanese community. He could look here, see how greatly Shingo has been recieved, and look at the chance to not only play, but play for a potentially very good team. I think he would be crazy not to look at us. I would think only the Yankees and Mariners (if Boone is dealt) as teams he'd perfer who need a 2b.

I was reading on the AOL frontpage that a man gave around $35,000 total to individuals who were in a shelter last night. I believe it was Colorado. That is really awesome for someone to do that. I was looking for the thread talking about the Salvation Army bucket, but couldn't find it. People mentioned maybe the SA set up the gold coins, but it is obvious that they do not have $35k to hand out to people. The article mentioned $5,000 to one family of six. All I know is it is great how some people do deeds like that.

That is really crazy. I was reading about it earlier...one day something like that is going to hit the United States too.

I have seen my parish grow through the years. I will be going to mass in two hours, and I am sure that there will be no where to sit, and it is a big sized church. I really like the smaller atmosphere where I feel a part of the group, where you know everyone, etc. I think it is just a better feeling. I would never leave my parish though, as I grew up in it, and it has been a part of my life for oh so long.

I would love to see Jamie get a chance...although I really do think we need to bring a catcher in.

Defensively, he is no where near Joe Crede. Offensively, he is much, much better already than Crede IMHO. Potential-wise, I think Joe and him are even, but Joe really scared me at the plate. I have seen Munson play some, and I never knew he was a catcher, granted that isn't saying much. I would love to give him a chance, but as long as Ross Gload is on the bench, I don't see a dire need for him.

I voted Head. I don't think Dee is good enough to make it work in the pros. I'd see him like TJ Ford, but Ford surprised alot of people. I am not as firmilar with Williams and I think he is the only other one besides Head who will ever make atleast a little impact in the pros. I think Luther Head is special though.
