  1. Yes and no. Nix is a solid player. Didn't Pitt ask for Mench first? They have so much talent in the field, they really need pitching and may try to lock Benson up long term. Hart said he isn't dealing his young position players though. Wants to build long term and not just for the season, so I don't expect the Rangers to be in the sweepstakes for Benson.
  2. Good friends, think about your good friends. I wouldn't throw a baseball at my good friend's head, never. I'd get him in the leg or at most back. Don't get me wrong, I would have hit him, but you have to be kidding if you bring this s*** up. I want Jackson gone as much as the next guy, but you can't honestly believe Jackson isn't out there to try to win and perform well.
  3. Come on Philly!!
  4. It is called the little things. Every successful team needs guys who will do them, guys who don't need to be in the lime light. We have enough stars on this team, we need some guys who will just come in and bust their balls doing whatever they can for the team to win. Frank is a veteran utility player. He is not a bad player. He would fit very nicely into the two hole. If we have no one on base for our power, we will never get more than a solo homerun.
  5. See you next year then, as I see you have jumped off the bandwagon. This team will be fine. No team has ever gone undefeated. Remember, we swept the Twins not too long ago and it all evens out. We will go down to the wire with then. Just be patient.
  6. Carl Everett...
  7. Usually Heads just sticks to his left hand though............... rolleyeyes.gif

I went to Saturday's game with my little sister, and I didn't have any problem. The drunk fat girl behind me was annoying cause all she did was talk about random ass s***, but no immature fans from mu point of view.
  14. I was thinking steroid s*** at first, but I am not so sure about the parasites.
  15. Slide Schoeneweis into the bullpen where I think he could be very good, I'd perfer Benson or a reliever though.
  16. Yes. Everyone else is too lazy. People would rather look for the quick, easy way to weight loss.
  17. Nope.... Honestly, they are already greatly conditioned, and they drop the bulk of the weight by just working out and eating even healthier than they are. I guarentee no boxer is losing fifteen pounds in a day or whatever it was. I have seen people lose six to seven, but fifteen is exaggeration. It becomes a way of life, it is not something you do, it is all you do. Boxing has the day before weighins too IIRC. That is what gets you. Generally, you go and binge after, plus all the liquids you take in. I am sure each boxer has his own routine, and I'd love to see who is dropping twenty pounds in a day.
  18. I'd take both. I'd perfer Hairston, although Roberts is that teams sparkplug,
  19. Seems like he was already pretty far along on that...
  20. Eh, I don't know about first choice, but he is up there.
  21. Read my above post...
  22. Sounds like they're doing too much. I am not sure I want to deal with food and exercise.
  23. He's been discussed before, and could be a very productive left-handed bat in the two slot.
  24. Hardwork, dedication, and determination...
