I started a Dynasty with the Devil Rays on All-Star, did a fantasy draft, here's my team... We're 6-3 and in 2nd in the East behind Randy Johnson, Frank Thomas and the rest of the Boston Red Sox. For the most part I simulate until the 8th inning if it's a close game I play the last 2 innings.

Best Director: Martin Scorsese (The Aviator) Best Supp. Actress: Virginia Madsen (Sideways) Best Supp. Actor: Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby) Best Actress: Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby) Best Actor: Jamie Foxx (Ray) Best Picture: Million Dollar Baby That's all I care to predict, although I will be cheering for Sideways in pretty much every category it's in. I think it's pretty much a lock for Best Adapted Screenplay. And yes Paul Giamatti was robbed again, Clint Eastwood?! Give me a break.

Wow, 17-19 from the free throw line. And 7 blocks! Those are some stats.

My one worry about the categories is that everyone could try to load up on hitters and just forget about their pitchers because there are more hitting categories than pitching, but I don't really care. If everyone else is fine with that then so am I.

I've never done fantasy golf before but while I was checking in on my fantasy basketball and joining fantasy baseball I stumbled across it. The season has already started but you can still join and create groups. If anybody is interested I'll create a group for Soxtalk. Voice your interest, or lack of, here.

I thought Iguchi won't be in the game because he's never played in the MLB before.

I'm following the MVC but my team, ISU, is on a losing streak right now. Hopefully they can end it tonight at UW-Green Bay. As for the amount of bids we get, I think it will depend on who wins the conference tournament and gets the automatic bid. If SIU or Wichita State win it I think they'll be the only 2 to get in but if UNI, ISU, or Creighton, etc. win it I think they would have to take WSU and SIU along with the tourney winner. Who knows though, there's still a lot to be determined in these last few weeks.

I'll take JR Smith to win the Dunk Contest and Voshon Lenard to repeat as 3 point champion.

Just a few facts I want to put out there... Ordonez hit 35 or more HRs in 1 of the 7 seasons he was with the Sox. Lee has never hit 35 or more HRs in 1 season. Rowand hit 24 HRs in 140 games last year and led the team in AVG, SLG, and OBP. Where the f*** are you going with this?

Just because FOX cancelled the show doesn't mean it sucked. They've been known to take good shows off the air over the years including one of my favs Freaks and Geeks. I can't comment on whether or not the pilot of Family Guy was good though cause I haven't seen it. just sayin'

http://dyn.ifilm.com/superbowlads/ I actually thought that this year's ads were better overall than recent years. There wasn't any real standout ad but there were a lot of good ones. A few I liked were the Rodman one, the careerbuilder ones with the monkeys, the Bud Light skydiver one, the godaddy one, and the ameriquest ones.

I saw Million Dollar Baby tonight and must say it's a damn good movie. A lot better than Mystic River which I was kind of disappointed in last year. I still have to say I liked Sideways more. I'd rank the 3 I've seen that are up for best picture like this... 1.)Sideways 2.)Million Dollar Baby 3.)Finding Neverland I still have to see The Aviator and hopefully Ray before the Oscars.

Alright, cause I don't watch many ACC games, all I see is the scores and maybe a few highlight. I wasn't saying they were bad or anything I just didn't know. I guess Illinois does always move the ball around a lot more than other teams so they do run some clock when they're in their halfcourt offense.

You may even want to get up there Friday so you're there right when they lose to get them really cheap.
