QUOTE (Knuckles @ Jul 2, 2013 -> 02:46 PM) Can I get tickets for this price at the box office or online only?sorry. online only. you can call 1-312-674-1000 and ask them, but I know the answer already. -
Sounds like people on WSI have issues with the game day experience at the park. http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbullet...ad.php?t=138491 http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbullet...ad.php?t=137535 I've only been to 2 games this year(new kid), so I was wondering how much on the mark are the WSI posters? Have any of you guys had a s***ty experience at the park this year?

QUOTE (Knuckles @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 12:43 PM) I gave my tickets away for last night, was too worn out after parade. What was the attendance like? 19k paid.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 6, 2013 -> 09:13 AM) Out of curiosity, what's the deal with the Frank ones (since you have two). Consider me interested. The 2010 Frank Bobble was handed out on 3 dates(once in 2010, and twice in 2011). There's quite a few of them out there.

QUOTE (My_Sox_Summer @ Jun 6, 2013 -> 09:24 AM) I have the most recent Frank Thomas. Oddly I am not that interested in the others (seems like there are several more that the Sox gave out). Plus the company that did them for the Sox made other versions that were available for retail. That Hawk and DJ is a sweet bobble. I was given that one years ago along with a Konerko. Thanks for the reply. I am looking for the Harold Baines season ticket holder bobble from '03 or around there. And the fantasy camp ones, not including Mark Salas. I have a Chief bobble (and one extra I might add). The harold is from 2008. Nellie Fox was 2002. The 02 Mags, Fisk, and Minoso bobbles were co-sponsored by Pepsi, and were available not only at the stadium as giveaways, but also in a mail in offer. The main in bobble shave different packaging and no sponsor logo on the bobble(pepsi logo on box). The STH Baines and Fox bobbles go for a lot on ebay. I have them, but looking for cash.

http://mlb.mlb.com/cws/ticketing/groups/gs...65100-554513133 8/9. Code is MID and good for BOTH games! -
4/19's game was made as part of a split doubleheader on 8/9, yet 4/23 was made a straight doubleheader(one ticket, two games). Not sure why the sox would do that. Wouldn't the extra gate on a day game in summer weather make more sense?

Reinsdorf/frmr Gov. Thompson sued by former IFSA director
ewokpelts replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Of course, NO MENTION about how the Chicago Sport Depot was financed entirely by ...get this...the WHITE SOX! Thompson has publicly mentioned that his office wanted the Bacardi bar, but that reinsdorf was against it. And that the Sox wanted a team store concept built on the ballpark campus, and that the state was hesitant to build it. As tenant, the Sox have the right to veto any development plans the state have, and as landlord, the state has the right to veto any work the sox do on the property. Essentially, it was a trade, as the Sox got the team store they wanted(and paid for), and ISFA got the bar/restaurant concept they were pushing for(and paid for). But people seem to forget that. -

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 09:02 AM) I find it interesting that it'll be done over 5 years rather than take one season off, play at US Cellular, then have it all done. If they really want to give a middle finger to the roof-tops, move away for a year... AND obstruct their view. I still think the Cubs will be bunking with the sox. It may even be as early as 2014. Why else would the red line project get fast tracked? -
clearly, we need to impeach brooks, or something....

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 8, 2013 -> 01:32 PM) Upper deck alot of empty seats for opening day maybe Cub fans are getting tired of drinking the Kool-Aid. they still had the balls to post the attendance as 40k

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 11, 2013 -> 02:35 AM) Breaking News: Theo Epstein Overconfident Again If the Cubs are going first-class to remodel their house, they also figure to pursue a first-class free agent to complete the puzzle. It's early, of course, but all fingers are pointing to Red Sox center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury, the top free agent position player on next winter's market if Robinson Cano re-signs with the Yankees. The Cubs can't comment on their interest in Ellsbury, but there's little doubt he will be on their radar if he goes through the season without a new deal. Epstein had Ellsbury as general manager of the Red Sox. Top scout Jason MacLeod drafted Ellsbury for them. Second baseman Darwin Barney played alongside Ellsbury at Oregon State in 2005. And Chairman Tom Ricketts loves all things Boston, as evidenced by the proposed Fenway-ization of Wrigley Field and the bordering streets. The Cubs will have financial flexibility. They bid $75 million for Anibal Sanchez last December, so it's evident they are willing to pay for talent. Ellsbury will be costly, despite some injury-plagued seasons. His agent is Scott Boras, who just got Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus a $120 million, eight-year deal. With three potential impact players in the minors in Javier Baez, Jorge Soler and Albert Almora, and a very good shot at landing another with the No. 2 pick in the 2013 draft, the Cubs could add Ellsbury to the current core (Rizzo, Starlin Castro and Jeff Samardzija) for the expected ramp-up in 2015. Epstein's comfort level is as high as it has been since his arrival in Chicago. During a pregame media briefing on the field on opening day, he stopped in the middle of questioning to say "I love this song." Epstein said he had all the right people in the right places to make his game plan succeed. "We are in a much better position … with our scouting department … our player development …" Epstein said. "It's night and day for us, just in terms of comfort level, just because of the leadership we brought in. "Everyone is on the same page, there's a really clear vision. We're all working toward that common goal. There is a much greater comfort level, absolutely." Sullivan/tribune.com/sports can't wait to see who the next savior is. theo will be gone by 2015

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 10, 2013 -> 09:11 PM) Has it even rained at Wrigley at all yet? It hasn't by O'Hare, may have been a premature rainout?it's an excuse to avoid a crowd of 8k. and, to raise the ticket prices for the make up date in (presumably) warmer july.
