Westbrook is unguardable. Moore had his hand in his face the whole time and he still hit that.

QUOTE (danman31 @ Feb 24, 2015 -> 11:51 PM) Liverpool was built around him. Barcelona is built around Messi. 9 goals in 23 appearances isn't bad for a 'supporting' striker. Messi is scoring a goal a game. Suarez's Liverpool scoring rate doesn't just get added on top of that. It doesn't work like that. Even dominant teams only have so many scoring chances to go around. Messi and Neymar have actually had just as good of a season as Ronaldo if you look at some of the more in depth stats. Suarez is almost the third option on that team. I like how they moved Messi to the right wing and he still plays like a center forward half the time. I still can't believe Messi missed that put-back on his missed penalty. He gave City new life. They were going to be dead in the water if they went to Barca down 3-1.

The darned dress. What color do you see?
This blew up all the social networks pretty damn fast. I see gold and white. I can see a hue of blue, but I'm not sure how I can interpret the gold as black...

Derrick Rose to have surgery on Torn Right Meniscus
QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 25, 2015 -> 10:33 AM) Butler looked like a star, but he's been pretty average recently. It really does suck. We could have probably gotten Dragic or at the very LEAST MCW, whom I think I would have liked for his d. Instead...we're rolling with a 5'10 PG who is a much worse distributor than DJ was. I miss DJ. I don't think you want MCW. I'd rather have Aaron Brooks.

Suarez has 2 goals against City in the Champions League in 45 minutes. He had 7 goals in all games before that. I think Suarez's style of play fits much better in the Premier League.

2015 Cubs Catch-All thread
QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Feb 22, 2015 -> 12:46 PM) http://beta.espn.go.com/espn/story/_/id/12...-nerds-too-easy Point #2 is the reason why I previously argued that Cubs' batters with high strikeout rates IS a real cause for concern. Stat nerd himself Nate Silver says that strikeout to walk ratio is one of the most predictive stats for a pitcher's win-loss record. Taking the other side of this, unless the Cubs' big strikeout guys are getting on base at a high rate via walks or high batting average, it's a real problem. I've said this all along. It's hard to get a group of rookies to contribute their first year. It's even harder when most of those rookies strike out about as much as Adam Dunn.
