Man Anderson has such a pretty swing.

Nice outing from Shields after that first inning.

Yoan looks so much better from the left side.

lol umpire rung up Engel on strike 2.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 29, 2018 -> 05:00 PM) You have to give Shields credit, after the first 4 batters he has made it look easy. To be fair, I think he should have had a double play on that botched grounder by Anderson.

Shields in line for the win. Never thought this would happen after that first inning.

Is anyone else's mlb.tv stream sounding like chipmunks?

My goodness. 5 home runs!

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 29, 2018 -> 04:46 PM) If Davidson can make regular contact this year... He doesn't even need to make contact. Just be better with pitch selection and walk more. With his power, he can hit .230 and it'd be fine. He just needs to get on base at about a league average clip.

Davidson came to play

Duffy done after 4.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Mar 29, 2018 -> 04:33 PM) hes got a little bit of that eric brynes paradoxical awkward athleticism to him. still not convinced hes gonna be a replacement level player though All he has to do is have a .650 OPS at the plate to be replacement level with that defense of his.

Knock Duffy out of the game Avi

Moncada finally got a hit. 5-4

Engel looks great

Anderson, wow!

Sox killing Duffy the second time around. Even the outs are hard hit.

If Davidson ever learns how to take a walk, he'd be a nice DH.

Back to back jacks

Damn Yoan, what are you looking at?

Engel looks good at the plate right now.

Good god Shields is garbage

Wilson was well rated by PFF. PFF had him as a must re-sign for KC. He's a slot guy. Good blocker, very good hands since he caught 42/56 targets. Hopefully Meredith makes a nice comeback from his injury and we get a good WR in the first few rounds to bolster the WR corps. Not a ton of FA options out there. Robinson will probably get tagged and Landry already got tagged.

I'm not sure why they needed to sign Cain. Santana is cost-controlled and a much better hitter. Yelich can handle center field and Braun ain't going anywhere with that contract. If they gave Cain a contract till he's 36 only to use Santana as trade bait, it's a bad move.

Refs' Pats bias is so obvious. That PI is a no-call at best.
