  1. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 10:26 AM) It's a possibility IF Lebron is willing to leave. Howard, Lebron and Melo in Houston. It's not gonna happen, but it's possible. edit: i'm stealing this idea from Simmons off twitter btw. Not something I came up with out of the blue. Wow, that'd be a hell of a summer for Houston. Anything's possible with Morey.
  2. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 10:33 AM) He would have been a great fit on our roster with very little cost (outside of some financial ramifications). however, I understand Bulls couldn't pull a deal without knowing they could S&T Melo, because he would tie up too much cap space if you can't get Melo in a S&T (I think). I might be wrong. You're right about the cap issues. However, I really don't think we're getting Melo.
  3. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 10:22 AM) Frankly for those that though the Bulls were going to get things done without an issue, you've set yourself up for disappointment. The Bulls can only do so much. Players have to want to come here. For example, Melo, say there's a sign and trade possibility. If Houston offers Harden, Lin and someone else, what can the Bulls offer that would be better than that? Nothing. Done. End of story. Who can the Bulls offer that's better than Thompson for Love? No one. lol wut.
  4. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 10:13 AM) And it could be even worse..... f*** YOU GARPAX. f*** YOU.
  5. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 10:09 AM) Ya this is a deal that I go back to and really hate as a Bulls fan if they don't manage to get Melo/Love/James/Bosh/Parsons. Exactly. They better have something better up their sleeves. But I don't think anyone should get their hopes up.
  6. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 10:01 AM) That's all??? Fournier is better than Snell but you'd think Snell/19 might have got it done.....Wouldn't have been against Butler/19 either. That's a bad deal for the Magic IMO. Wow...that's a terrible deal and it's unimaginable how the Bulls couldn't top it.
  7. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 10:03 AM) game might be delayed due to heavy rains and flash floods http://www.espnfc.com/fifa-world-cup/4/vid...threatens-delay Will they also delay the other game too since the last games must be played at the same time?
  8. Ghana kicked Boateng and Muntari off their team today. Players also threatened to start a mutiny after they didn't get their bonuses. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/ghana-throws...-112044669.html
  9. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 10:00 AM) 1 missed opportunity.... @WojYahooNBA Orlando is finalizing a trade to send guard Arron Afflalo to the Denver Nuggets, league sources told Yahoo Sports. So he's going back to the Nuggets...?
  10. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 02:55 PM) In many ways, it's not syncing. Google treats it as a second screen, in a sense. It takes the phones apps, and repackages them for a dashboard screen. It wouldnt be hard to make that kind of technology cross platform. Yeah, it wouldn't be hard, but nobody has an incentive to do it so it is hard. Apple wouldn't want it, they want you to use their services. Microsoft wouldn't want it, they want you to use their services. Google's the only company with a history of developing for other platforms since they're a software company and not a hardware company, but even they wouldn't really want that since they'd rather have you use Android. It's good for the consumer to have something like that, but it doesn't benefit the companies making it, so it probably won't happen.
  11. LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live are going to be $200 apiece. I want to wait around for the Moto 360, but I may get impatient and buy one of those. They'll be up for pre-order on Google Play today.
  12. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 01:25 PM) THat being said, I want ALL devices to be be compatible with the in-car systems. I dont want a system that locks me into Android, or iOS, or WIndows Phone. I want a "dumb" system that allows me to connect my device. Mybe my wife has an iOS device, or my work phone is iOS, but my personal phone is Android. They'd have to create some kind of universal standard to sync data between the car and your phone (no, not Bluetooth), which I don't see happening. There's no incentive for Apple, Google, or Microsoft to do this.
  13. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 12:49 PM) I agree I think it's good design...but only to a certain point. I felt I enjoyed it more when all three had their own look and feel...now that they're all converging into something very similar...meh. Honestly, I don't really see Windows Mobile as a valid choice...at least with Apple you get Google stuff, as Google doesn't support windows mobile much at all, and with Google you get the openness of having a lot of choice available. What exactly do you get with Windows Mobile aside from being stuck on Bing and IE? Windows Phones have good cameras? I don't know. I don't see them as a real option honestly. No Google services. Smaller app library. It's the same reason why I don't use Fire tablets or why I don't want that new Fire phone. No Google = no go for me.
  14. Android Auto is very interesting. You tether your phone to the car and it basically mirrors your phone's features to your car. This way, you don't have to update the car's software, which makes a lot of sense. Most people won't get a new car every year or two. They get a new one every 10 years.
  15. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 12:09 PM) Is it just me, or has it become a thing from Apple/Microsoft and now Google to all converge on the same basic design principals? Everything looks like flat, borderless tiles on every single mobile OS now. Android/iOS and Windows Mobile all seem very similar to each other now. MS went with it first. Then Android. Then iOS. And now Android is looking more like iOS. I love flat design BTW, so I think it's good.
  16. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 10:25 AM) The game would have been over when they scored. So I am pretty comfortable with saying that. You can't just look at it that way. You're basically assuming there would have been 3 minutes of stoppage time play as opposed to 4 minutes. That doesn't work.
  17. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 09:24 AM) SCOTUS rules against Aereo. There goes your non-cable streaming option for TV. That thing had like 15 channels. If it had more it would have been very interesting though. Google I/O is in an hour, the new version of Android should be announced today and from the few leaks that have been released, it's going to look radically different.
  18. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 09:55 AM) And they lost because of it. I'm not sure you can say that, because it was still 4 minutes of play during stoppage time. Who knows what might have happened, but I'm not sure you can say they lost because of it.
  19. QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 10:02 AM) This sums it up, FIFA has so much money yet only brought on goal line tech this WC, which i don't believe has even been used.......yet? I think it's been used once this World Cup. I get the feeling that the guys who run FIFA are even more conservative than the guys who run MLB. It took how long for MLB to get replay? It'll probably take longer for soccer.
  20. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 08:20 AM) Fair play? LOL. Was it fair play when Graham Zusi took over 60 seconds to cross the pitch for a late substitution? Is it fair play when goalies approach goal kicks like crippled old men to kill time? In the heat of the moment, Suarez made a smart play to up his team's survival chances from 0% to about 10-15%. I would hope every American player would have the instinct to do the same should such situation arise. They added a whole minute of stoppage time because of that, so meh.
  21. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 01:25 PM) Im guessing the plan is you bite someone, they react, you dive and hope for a PK? In this case, he started grabbing his teeth acting like he got elbowed or something.
  22. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 01:12 PM) Didn't think the red was bad at all. Cleats up, not even trying to play the ball, straight into the other player, right in front of the reg will be red everytime. But yeah Suarez needs a long suspension if not expulsion. Apparently, it's not the first time he's bit someone. If you thought Zidane's headbutt was weird, this is on another level.
  23. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 11:15 AM) Indeed. I'd then throw Taj and #19 to the Magic for Afflalo. Rose-Afflalo-Butler-Bosh-Noah looks very intriguing to me. I'd like that very much. It's not as good as Love or Melo, but it'd make us instant championship contenders again.
  24. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 10:34 AM) I think Bosh is still valuable. I think a few teams would give him 17-18 a year or more if he was a true FA. Wade I agree, he's lost even more value. I don't think he's worth more than 10-12 at this point. He can't hold up for an entire season and a long post season run. And he doesn't play defense anymore. Still, the Heat could be loyal and try to get another couple of years out of them. They could opt out and sign for more years. Instead of 2 for 42, do 3 for 50-55. Then the cap numbers work out to add some flexibility. Like I said before, Bosh is like the perfect plan C in case Melo and Love are off the table. The Bulls have enough in cap space to get him outright as a FA if he opts-out.
  25. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 04:34 PM) Wow, Marquez was the one that scored it. Layun has been sort of disappointing so far this World Cup, right? (Game here in China is Brazil/Cameroon, so can't see it). By the way, was anyone else impressed with how dynamic Deandre Yedlen looked coming off the bench and blowing by all those tired defenders...? He was a big reason why the US scored the second goal. He and Wondolowski both did their jobs as subs.
