The mistake there was pinch hitting Braden for Doyle, which meant that you had to leave Sam in LF in the 9th. That was just a brain fart. I don't think he thought that all the way through and it really didn't have anything to do with analytics.

I don't think you have much to worry about with the Astros. They aren't making it past the ALDS if they somehow beat us in the wild card series. Hell, they might not even make the playoffs.
