I can see the Cubs winning game 3. Taillon's looked the best out of all their starters. Brewers should get Peralta on normal rest in game 4, so that's probably their best shot at closing out the series.

I think Wilson's a 6th or 7th inning guy at best on any team worth a damn. But at $1.5 million, you have to bring him back. That's peanuts for a guy who can possibly put up 0.5 WAR.

Losing Horton was a huge hit for them. He was easily their best starter in the 2nd half. Boyd was fading due to him not pitching a whole lot of innings in recent years and Imanaga was mid all year. Taillon is probably their best starter right now.

They were trying to get Counsell to bench Busch. It worked for getting the leadoff guy out, but the rest did not. You look clever if it works, but incredibly stupid if it doesn't.
