Yeah that's 100% on Sam. That's a pretty normal turn around 2nd. Pereda definitely sought him out though. He has no need to avoid him there as he owns the base path, but trying to run into the guy there rubs me wrong.

Sam shoulda charged Pereda from 2nd base there just to send a message.
