  1. What's the difference between throwing 4 in the dirt and the IBB? He went after him, as most people figured he would.
  2. He had the balls to go after him. Props to Cease. s%*# happens.
  3. Yeah. I don't think this has anything to do with the no-no.
  4. Thats a great play to just swing blindly and get the inning over.
  5. Who is this team, and what did they do with the 2022 Chicago White Sox?
  6. Actually, it completely fucking favors the Sox. I don't understand this mentality. As a competitor, this is what you want. All you can ask for at the end of the season is a bunch of games against the teams you are trailing. It honestly couldn't be any better from my perspective. Almost every win is closing two games on the team ahead of you. Your destiny is almost entirely in your own hands. Sink or swim, it's almost completely in their hands.
  7. Let's see if the Sox can avoid doing what they've done all season after putting together a few wins. Reverting to dogshit, lifeless, losing baseball... They sure as shit haven't convinced me that this isn't more of the same yet. Funny how the team seems to have more energy without TLR in the dugout. I'm sure it's just the team really pulling together to win for him, though. ? Sweep the Twins and I might have some faith.
  8. A better version of Joe Kelly. Which begs the question, why the fuck sign Joe Kelly??
  9. I mean, this was the most likely scenario, right? The guy hasn't been able to throw strikes all season, and the Sox thought he could throw them in a role he hasn't had in....two years? Fucking amazing levels of incompetence. Fire everyone.
  10. Joe Kelly opening has TLR written all over it, doesn't it??? Don't people remember TLR was the major reason the Sox signed him? "Fans are gonna love him." This is another move that just stinks of TLR trying to prove himself right. I can't believe anyone thought him opening this game was a good idea.
  11. A Joe Kelly opener... Lol. You can't make this ineptitude up.
  12. Can you give me a single example of a player, interviewed about their manager or coach, who has EVER said something negative about them when they are away from the team? Come on. What are the players supposed to say? "Fuck Tony. We are glad he's sick and away from the team. Maybe now we can have fun and play good baseball." ??
  13. Oh, look. One of the three TLR stans left on the planet. How cute.
  14. The different energy is likely a result of TLR NOT being there.
  15. I'm not shitting on anyone, Mr. Sensitive. I'm voicing my opinion. You know, the entire purpose of a message board? I couldn't care less about a meaningless win here and there with how badly this team has shit down it's leg all season, and I'm not alone. All wins are doing at this point is making their draft position in a wasted season worse.
  16. Then I hope the stadium is COMPLETELY EMPTY.
  17. Meh. Just boredom, more than anything. This season is over. Their wins now mean nothing.
  18. You mean hiring a 77 year old guy, with health concerns, and a history of alcohol abuse, was probably a terrible idea? You don't say. People have been questioning his health and mental health since....he was fucking hired. This is just such a shocker, right? Just reinstates what a TERRIBLE FUCKING HIRE this was to begin with. I don't wish ill upon TLR, but I'm sure he will be fine. This reeks of giving a guy a respectable out, for someone who never should have been hired to begin with.
  19. Not sure why we're even entertaining this, at this point. They just dropped 4 straight at home to the Dbacks and Royals...
  20. Vaughn the full time 1B. Abreu gone. Sheets and Eloy switch off at DH/LF. Then find a real, legit fucking RF and 2B. You know guys aren't staying healthy, so you can absolutely carry all three of those guys. It would be stupid to trade any of them, because they have more value to the Sox than they do in a trade. But you have to move on from Abreu. He's gonna fall off a cliff any day now. The Cardinals said goodbye to Pujols, the Sox can do it with Abreu. I mean, they let Frank Thomas go, FFS.
