MTH 115 - Calc HIS 340 - 20th Century Europe FLS 202 - Espanol ETE 280 - Another ridiculous education class ENG 270 - Creative Writing HON 101 - Just a once-a-week, 1 credit seminar. This one is Science and Faith

That's exactly what I was thinking of while reading the article.

All 4 of the finalists were good. I think the "parents" one was the best, but the animation and Child's Play, the actual winner, were both very good.

What a f***ing sleazebag move. They get the taxpayers of Milwaukee to buck up for a brand new stadium for them, free of cost, and they turn around and sell the whole franchise. Selig's showing those true colors again.

Defending the charatcer of any politician is insane. The name of the game is to see who can throw the most scum without getting hit. The real judgment of government leaders is how they handle themselves on the job. Not how much of a "role model" they are.

Business cycle. The 90s were long overdue for a recession. I don't weigh the President as one of the factors when I'm buying things.

Probably, but you just can't assume. There is a huge Mitsubishi plant somewhere in Central Illinois that pumps millions of dollars into the local economy. Meanwhile, the higher ups at Ford or GM still would have you believe that even though their cars are manufactured in Asia to keep costs low, by buying "American" you're helping to keep American jobs, when in reality, you're just lining their pockets.
-
Regardless, the biggest sin of the whole Clinton Affair was the complete and utter waste of millions of tax dollars for a personal vendetta. Anyone who is looking up at politicians to be their role models is obviously detached from reality as is, but I'll take a bunch of lying, sex addicts who at least spend public funds in the interests of the public, over a bunch of God-fearing, perfect gentlemen who use public money to run their own witch hunts.

You are correct. Let me clarify what I meant. And, of course, since this is the political debate forum, all of this is essentially what I think should be done to run a country smoothly. Take with a grain of salt. It's not the role of the government to regulate responsibility, morality, etc. when dealing with the choices of an adult who is capable of making decisions for themselves. Obviously in cases such as murder, rape, drunk driving, etc. these need to be regulated and enforced because you have crossed the line and have infringed on the rights of someone else. But I really couldn't care less if an adult wants to snort a bag of cocaine. Hey man, it's you're body. But that is a whole 'nother can of worms.

To play devil's advocate, many "American" made cars are made overseas, while many "import" cars are made here in America. In a globalized economy, most of the times the only difference is where the corporate headquarters are. Anyways, don't think I ever check. However, with the dollar getting destroyed on the international market, US exports are up, so we have that going for us. Which is nice.

Bah.... 130 years ago, people were complaining that machines and industrialization would be the death of the American economy. Hopefully all this does is wake people up a little bit, because this nation is badly in need of some economic revision anyway. Somehow, I think the good ol' USA will pull throw.

Oh god. We cry bloody murder when a pilot flips the bird, but there are millions of small, private planes (owned by wealthy citizens and businesses) that zigzag across the sky everyday, many completely untracked, landing in small, private airfields (owned by... that's right, you guessed it) that are completely unsecure. Yeah, we're really buckling down on national security. Only when it doesn't trouble the white collars, apparently.

Hey man. Welcome to America. I'm all for people being responsible, but you can't force it. If they want to be dumb, jag-off, pricks who never want act like an adult or be held accountable for their own actions, that's their right. Hey, they could be President. Again, my stance on the issue... Don't like abortions? Don't have one.

After watching Manning the last two games, anyone who can honestly not pick him as the top QB in the league is insane. The Pats are going to dominate Sunday's game, but it won't be because they have the better QBs.

Yes sir, Your Royal Dictator. Perhaps we should call up the Chinese. They have great reproduction laws.

What are you talking about? Considering all the natural wealth in Alaska (precious metals, oil) we f***ing robbed the Ruskies blind.

He can just take the money out of education. Not like the next generation is going to need college, anyway.

Who should go to the Sugar Bowl?

This makes absoletuly no sense. First you say Oklahoma is one of the best two teams in the nation... Then you said they don't belong in the championship? What is the point of the BCS if it's not going to pit one of the top 2 teams in the nation in the national championship? No one has said that losing 35-7 looks good, but it's completely faulty logic if you think that a team that has clearly shown itself to be one of the 2 best in the nation over a 3-month season doesn't deserve to play in the Sugar Bowl because of 1 loss. My beef is that the #1 team in both human polls isn't there, however, LSU is screwing USC. The Sooners earned their shot at the title a week before K-State. -
USC and LSU's 1 loss (especially USC... Cal?) were to much weaker opponents. Since when did college football have to be like basketball? Maybe we should go with a 64-team tourney to keep everyone from whining? Anyways, if we can't agree on the basic premise that Oklahoma pretty much wrapped up a trip to the Sugar Bowl a week or so ago, we're not going to agree on anything anyways. Bottom line is, they're their and, IMO, they deserved it more than USC. The real thieves here are the Tigers, anyway.
-
Oklahoma doesn't get hurt A) because they hadn't lost yet and B) they had clearly proven they were one of the best two teams in the nation throughout the course of the year. The BCS is supposed to find the two best team from the season, not just the two that finished the best. No one deserved it more than Oklahoma. And it wasn't even close.

Not just that, look how much you get for losing a BCS game. -

Naw, Oklahoma deserved it. USC probably deserved it more than LSU, but who cares? Someone's always going to get the shaft. -

Ahem... In Division 1-AA... Face it. You lost to maybe one of the worst teams in Div-1 this year. 6-6 in the Gateway would equate to 2 or 3 wins in even the worst Div-1 conferences. -
One's white, made of plastic, and dangerous to little children... The other is a grocery bag.
