  1. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 03:32 PM) Kind of an odd choice since he pitched 2 innings yesterday. This loss is on Ozzie, 100%
  2. QUOTE (hi8is @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 12:33 PM) This sure is a telling statistic: • The White Sox have two losses in games during which they led after eight innings. The team finished 76-3 in 2010 when leading after eight. Make it 3
  3. Take a BIG whiff, that's the smell of a closer ....... 6-up, 6-down.
  4. QUOTE (DukeofChicago88 @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 09:33 PM) NICE Omar with three hits! Maybe Ozzie will put him in the 3-hole ..................................
  5. T Pain - shocker Yes, I blame Ozzie as well - shocker
  6. White Sox ranked 3rd in Dobrow's Power Rankings this week: http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/powerrankings
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 07:35 AM) His average fastball last year was 96.1. His average fastball on his career is 95.7. He's exactly where he's been the last 5 years. Been said already, but speed not the problem. The 4th pitch to LaRoche (yes, Andy LaRoche) was an off-speed pitch right in the middle of the grid. He had him 0-2 using an effective fastball. He can't locate and his fastball is all he's got.
  8. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 03:02 AM) Really feel bad for Juan Pierre, 2 E in last two seasons, now 2 in 4 games? He is a good defender. He got a lot o support after that game last night. Everything has been said about Thornton already. You feel BAD for him? Really? The guy blew two games ... As we learned by our luck with bad D in 2005, you give a team extra chances and they will take advantage (except us last night after Kurt dropped the pop-up, but...). He does not deserve our support, he is not a good fielder, and I don't consider someone who gets thrown out as much as he does (caught stealing 175 times in his career) a real base running asset, especially given his limp bat, limp arm, and now, limp glove. Send him back to Wrigley.
  9. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 10:00 PM) Guillen just said that the ball that Pierre dropped wasn't easy because there is a wall near him. Yeah that's some awesome logic there. Lmao This year's Kotsay, get used to it, he ain't goin nowhere
  10. QUOTE (zenryan @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 10:07 PM) Yeah, he didnt drop it, he flat out missed it. He is definitely fighting it out there. He flat out sucks
  11. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 09:50 PM) Adam Dunn gets his gloves and his bat. Then watches Ozzie allow the guy wno f***ed up try to right himself. Way to do what's best for the team. No kidding ... This year's Kotsay syndrome
  12. Listening to the crowd boo Juan was good therapy ... let's have him take the last at bat, good idea
  13. Pierre take a good f'n look at that flying over your head, you cost us the game you piece of trash
  14. Seriously Juan has to be on the take, he almost blew another one ... we cant afford to keep him out there, DFA is loser a**
  15. The Sergio Santos Show is about to begin ... Please take your seats
  16. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 10:37 PM) No, Pauly literally had no shot at that ball from where it bounced and who the hell cares if he knocks it down or not? It's not like it was the tying run getting into scoring position. A run scored on the passed ball And Pierre is actually a very good lf who made just a horrendous play in that inning. Did you throw-up in your mouth while typing this?
  17. You can't blame Thornton for this one, but his confidence and Ozzie's confidence is gone after this one ... 1st error is as much PKs fault and you have to blame him as much as Alexi (as did Harold Reynolds) Even if you miss it, knock it down and save the run. Turning your head? Pierre just plain sucks in every way ... It's Santos time
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 01:28 PM) That a boy Rios! And for those saying he was struggling this year, he's looked just fine. eating crow (for now)
