He might be on the team because of his defense but nothing should be given to him. He was one of the very worst players in baseball last year. 336 plate appearances 6 Homers 35% K Rate .247 BABIP (was unlucky) .166/.235/.282 wOBA .230 wRC+ 37. -0.7 fWAR. I think there will be much better overall options in the OF. His defense is spectacular but his .OPS is barely over .500.

They have immovable contracts and trading Patrick Kane doesn't really make any sense.

That's easily a top 3 seed in the East without LeBron.
