  1. I'll be honest here. I haven't heard Jackson Flora's name one time throughout the entire process.
  2. I like the Tulowitzki/Correa comp better than Swanson.
  3. I just think teams will ask for him.
  4. Where are you located? Maybe draft bets aren't allowed? I couldn't bet on the NFL draft in Pittsburgh this year
  5. That's the first thing I did haha. It's there. It's under Futures. He's +400 now though.
  6. Cholowsky also has hit/power combo and is a plus defender. If Emerson's hit tool is actually a 55 and not a 65-70, he's just not a star.
  7. Here's mock draft 5.0 from Baseball America: https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/2026-mlb-mock-draft-5-0-updated-first-round-picks-after-the-college-world-series-draft-combine/ Couple things from here. Carlos goes with Roch Cholowsky but noted that it's the closest he's ever come to putting Grady Emerson but couldn't pull the trigger. Said industry sources think it's down to Cholowsky or Emerson rather than Lackey. He also mocked Landon Thome to the Pirates at #34 but said that he wouldn't be surprised if this pick is traded before the draft.
  8. Ok fair. I don't personally give a s%*# about Roch Cholowsky's batting average. Also don't feel like debating. We'll find out in a couple weeks and I'll analyze then.
  9. There's nothing for you to agree or disagree with. The average batting average in MLB right now is .239. It's just math.
  10. 40 hit would be below-average which isn't even usually a big league regular. Being a .240 hitter is generally seen as average (50) and the landscape now is even more skewed.
  11. Here's our draft profile from FutureSox: https://www.futuresox.net/2026/06/27/2026-mlb-draft-profile-roch-cholowsky/ 40 hit is insane. This isn't even worth debating with you at this point.
  12. I'm operating right now as if Vahn Lackey isn't under consideration. They might save a little with Emerson but not enough for me to not take the college guy.
  13. I still don't think either player gets $10 million but let's say Cholowsky is $10 million, Emerson would be $9.75 million and Lackey is still probably breaking the record too. I just don't see much cost savings on anyone so I'd take Cholowsky.
  14. Until the best athletes in America choose soccer consistently over basketball, baseball and football, it'll never be more popular.
  15. The podcast that goes with it is really good too. Something that's being lost about Emerson is the necessity to be correct on the hit tool. If it's not 60-65 hit, he's not a star.
  16. Fake account. I'd be really surprised by any trade activity prior to the draft.
  17. Here is Mock Draft 2.0 that I released today: https://www.futuresox.net/2026/06/21/2026-mlb-mock-draft-2-0/ Grady Emerson Draft Profile: https://www.futuresox.net/2026/06/17/2026-mlb-draft-profile-grady-emerson/ Jacob Lombard Draft Profile: https://www.futuresox.net/2026/06/08/2026-mlb-draft-profile-jacob-lombard/ MLB Draft Notebook 4.0: https://www.futuresox.net/2026/06/09/white-sox-2026-mlb-draft-notebook-4-0/
  18. I'm not sure. I know the Sox have actively looked for another pick. Rosenthal reported that Pirates are open to trading theirs. I'm sure other clubs who have a better fit are also interested though.
  19. I'm not sure. I was thinking about Jacob Gonzalez to a different club, controllable reliever to the Pirates and #34 to the White Sox maybe. The Pirates are cheap. I don't think they want to spend $20 million on the draft. They didn't even spend their full pool last year. They have two second round picks in addition to the Comp A.
  20. Thinking that Roch Cholowsky is maxed out is fucking insane considering what the Sox have done with some hitters of late.
  21. Y2Jimmy0 replied to BamaDoc's topic in FutureSox Board
    Yes.
  22. This seems about right. I would prefer Emerson if there's a discount but I don't think there will be. I don't think either guy gets $10 million but they both break the record of $9.3 million at 1.
  23. Haven't heard Battista specifically but also haven't asked. Where's he committed to? They know Bass very well from their Area Codes team. Outside of Landon Thome; Jack Slightom of Lyons Township is a name I'd keep an eye on and Gavin Swartz from Normal could be an option as well.
  24. We discussed this on the FutureSox podcast. I'd make the trade in a heartbeat.
