  1. Same, hasn’t been hitting for much power as of late, hopefully that changes in the coming weeks.
  2. I wonder if there is a prop bet for Gonzalez throwing a no-hitter today.
  3. Lol...there’s the walk. Hopefully he can add another hit at some point today.
  4. Thank god Lopez was backing up home plate right there.
  5. It does seem like he’s a lot of first inning struggles, I can’t deny that.
  6. He had two rough innings, but the stuff looked great and he was getting a ton of swinging strikes.
  7. Lopez? He looked fantastic in his last start.
  8. Double off the outfield wall for Collins in the 1st.
  9. I assume you mean he can’t hit LHP, because he’s been pretty good against RHP. And what does the “he will be 24” next year comment mean? Are you suggesting he should be fully developed by age 24?
  10. I’m not sure I see this being a huge issue just yet. We have 15 players or so that will be gone or can easily be let go of by this offseason. And quite frankly, I’m not sure there are that many guys that will need to be protected. I believe we’re talking about the college picks from the 2015 draft class for the most part, so Stephens & Zavala will need to be added to the 40 man, maybe a guy like Mendick for depth. We don’t really have any LatAm or high school guys that require protection to my knowledge.

  12. Thanks for sharing. It’s really too bad he’s going to be out for an extended period of time just as he was hitting his stride.
  13. Seems like the Britton market will need to settle before we can move Soria. I’m still optimistic we’ll get a decent piece for him (FV 45 type prospect) and I wouldn’t be surprised if Hahn tries to replicate the Kahnle trade from last offseason and combine multiple assets to get at least one pretty good prospect.
  14. Yeah, I think they’re saving Alvarez (or Tucker) for a substantial controllable piece. I think the best we could do for Abreu at this point in time is a guy like Hector Perez as the centerpiece and a couple high upside lottery tickets. I’m not sure that’s enough for me to move him.
  15. Guy just can’t stay healthy. I feel like his entire body has been injured at some point. It’s really unfortunate too because we have him signed to a dirt cheap extension. He’d actually be a pretty valuable trade asset if he could pitch a full season.
  16. Seems like Carlos Correa’s back issue might be the bigger reason the Astros have interest in Abreu or at least that’s what some of their fans are speculating. Adding Jose would allow them to shift Gurriel to 3B & Bregman to SS in the event that Correa is out longer than expected. I could definitely see Luhnow trying to buy low on Abreu, just doubtful they’d offer up anything interesting enough that would get us to bite. Could explain the “inclined to hold” positioning they are taking via the Nightengale tweet.
  17. Nate Jones with a setback and being shut-down for two weeks. Looks like we can exclude him from any trade proposals.
  18. No, just trying to draw out the coward who hated on the post...looks like it worked.
  19. Lol...some message board coward can’t actually reveal himself...not surprised.
  20. What fucking pussy confused faced this post? Is that you Tommy Longo??
  21. Bryce Bush is a fucking stud.
