  1. Yup, this is only his 21st career start. He’s still effectively a rookie.
  2. We’re not moving Vaughn, so no need to worry there.
  3. Fine, your opinion is crazy then ?
  4. Vaughn is the perfect compliment to what this offense currently is.
  5. Lynn put up a 7 win season last year and was 5th in AL Cy Young voting. Sure, his ERA is likely to regress some, but the peripherals are strong and we’d be adding him for his potential post season impact. I agree we need to be cautious on price, but as I mentioned Ken Rosenthal is not sure teams will be lining up to trade away top 100 prospects. If we can add him at a fair price, he’s without question the guy we should be targeting.
  6. Why do you think that? This is the fWAR leaderboard for 2019 & 2020 combined. Lynn is second overall and there is not a single guy on that list that isn’t considered a high end starting pitcher. When do you start believing that his development of a cutter and him embracing analytics might mean he’s legit now?
  7. Peralta is way too much of a project to help our rotation this year.
  8. Cease is worth exponentially more than Bundy, so no need to worry there.
  9. You want to trade for Peralta to help this year’s rotation? I thought you just said it was a long play.
  10. Which is why that dude’s tweet was total BS.
  11. We don’t need a long play right now, we’re looking for help for our playoff rotation.
  12. It would be the biggest no-brainer trade ever
  13. Again, please not Gonzalez. Little worried after that Merkin “think controllable” tweet.
  14. I would imagine so, although I’m sure if the Brewers were willing to trade Woodruff & Hader for a package based around Vaughn & Dunning Hahn would make an exception.
  15. Total BS. Vaughn & Dunning would be the starting point for either guy not both of them.
  16. Ray has been horrible this year, so can’t imagine he’d cost much to acquire. And in all honesty, he’d be a questionable addition given his control issues at the moment.
