Seriously, if you go position by position the Sox are the sttrongest in the Central. I know it doesn't work that way and that those scrappy Twins always figure it out, but I don't see why anyone would think we have more holes than the other contenders. If we get in the playoffs, there's no telling what will happen (see Giants vs Rangers).

Because the question is the best player, I eliminated all of the 1-dimensional players and pitchers, which left Alexei, AJ amd Alex. AJ is too slow and can't hit much anymore and some aspects of his defense is meh. So, I went with Rios - better hitter and base runner than Alexei. Both are great defensively and play key defensive positions. Alexei is a close second.

I was there - it happened right in front of me. The guy was a jerk. He said something disgusting to the girl and she justifiably slapped him. It was over in an instant and I didn't hear Ozzie say anything objectionable. That said - Oney is an embarrassment. If a guy said to me what the jerk said to Oney's girlfriend, my husband would have hit him, very hard.

The comment about playing for a manager that knows how to handle a bullpen is going to be the one Bobby regrets. He should know not to make an enemy of Ozzie. And he got way more chances here thn he will be granted in Boston.
