It'll never happen. When is the last time the White Sox signed the big fish of the offseason. And I know this particular crop of free agents aren't going to be expensive this year. What I mean by big fish is that they are the most sought after free agents on the market right now. We won't get them.

I hope Springer and Bauer sign soon so we don't have to obsess over them for the entire offseason.

I'm surprised that so many people have given up on Cease. With a new pitching coach I expect big things out of him. I'd be more concerned with Kopech. I wouldn't want to give up on Madrigal either because he puts the ball in play so much.

So I guess this means that LaRussa is here to stay. I wonder if JR did anything to make those charges disappear? Next year's baseball season is ruined for me. I'm not going to lie and say I won't watch, but I cannot root for TLR or Reinsdorf at this point.
