Eduardo Perez just said on MLB Radio that he bets that Cole signs for 9 years... he sounded coy like he knew something. I wouldn't be surprised if this were true.

None of these trade scenarios sound appealing to me because I don't want them to give up prospects. I'd rather re sign Ivan Nova before dealing young talent. The Tatis Jr. trade still has me shell shocked. Man Zack Wheeler really put the White Sox in a bind. He would have solved a big problem.

Imagine how cool it would be if the White Sox had an owner who’ll do “Whatever it takes”.

Yep. Help Robert and help the young pitching staff by signing someone who can go get the ball. If all goes well then we can hide Calhoun's bat in the lineup because everyone else will be mashing. I know it's not ideal, but it's better than having fun bad in the outfield.

Plus Calhoun is good defensively. He can go get the ball.

Who is the better Dylan, Bundy or Covey?

I’ll be glad when Dallas Keuchel signs with another team so we don’t have to worry about the White Sox signing him. I can saw MadBum going to the twins or maybe the Padres. I don’t think we get anyone other than Ivan Nova again.

I think they still have room for MadBum.

I’ll take Wheeler and give a young arm an opportunity. Hamels is done. Keuchel is on his way to being done.

Stealth Mode. Who saw this coming?

I’m convinced that either we will be underwhelmed by the White Sox moves (Encarnacion, Puig, Calhoun and or Keuchel) or we will be blown away by moves or signings that no one saw coming (big trades/big FA signing or both). There will be no middle ground.
