I think profits are what’s most important to the White Sox. Winning is secondary. If they happen to win while making money then cool. I don’t think Hahn has near the authority people believe he has to make deals and sign free agents. Same with Kenny Williams when he ran day to day operations. And I do believe RH and KW knew from the very beginning that Reinsdorf would never sign Machado for that much so they signed his buddies and hoped another team wouldn’t beat their lowball offer.

I like Castellanos but I'm sick of seeing bad defense in the outfield. Robert would go nuts with Eloy playing on one side of him and Castellanos on the other side. I wish Heyward's bat was better. I bet that team on the north side would give him away just to offload the contract.

I fully expect this to happen. That's dreadful.

I think if you absolutely cannot deal with Tim Anderson at SS, then you trade him. I think moving him to the outfield severely hampers his development. I also believe that he will become a perennial all star if you trade him. Remember when he said something about how he wasn’t really developed when he was in the minors? Imagine him going to a team with a strong coaching system. He has a lot of talent get to be unlocked.

I can’t remember the last time I felt this optimistic on the last day of the season. I can’t wait until spring training. I just want our team to be relevant again.

I just have a hard time believing that Steven Strasburg would come to the White Sox. Gerrit Cole is a pipe dream. I think the White Sox would have to outbid potential suitors by a country mile to get them to come here and I just don't see JR approving that.
