Yup. I really hope they make some room for Mercedes/Collins at some point this season. Better to test the waters with those two now then next season.

Let's get it Gio!

Free Yermin!

Yermin Bomb.

Yea. I can't work myself into a lather on this trade deadline. Returns were pretty bad for the most part around the league, and all the Sox really had to dangle were some bullpen arms and a bunch of position player flotsam.

Yep. Pitiful return.

Fun.

Listen to the sound of this.

Sure thing Bob.

Yup. See if the bat plays. No time like the present.

Madrigal lines one to the opposite field and is thrown out trying to stretch it into a double. Looked safe to me though.

The return felt light. I'm okay with it from the Mets side. Depending on what else they do I suppose.

I'm not huge on him either. He's also going to continue the misconstrued "Keith Law hates the White Sox" narrative if acquired.

Seems Stroman wasn't too happy about going to the Mets. https://nypost.com/2019/07/29/marcus-stromans-yankees-desire-confirmed-after-ugly-clubhouse-scene/?utm_source=twitter_sitebuttons&utm_medium=site buttons&utm_campaign=site buttons

Lol at the title change.

Fantastic post OP. I get that there is a place for grousing, criticism, and blowing off steam, but when the majority of the posts on this board are nothing but repetitive negativity it makes me not want to interact with Soxtalk. That makes me sad. There are some fantastic posts, posters, and discussions that happen here, but the effort required to filter through the miasma is becoming increasingly tougher lately. Respect to those posters that continue to add value to this place.

We have a believer in JJ Cooper!

U wot mate?

Yea. I had been wondering where he was. Looks like on the 17th he was put on the IL retroactive to the 14th. Did I miss the reason on this?

Does this really warrant a thread? Complain in the gamethread with the rest of the folks.
