2019 MLB draft thread
I would be legit shocked if they passed on Vaughn for Abrams.

This still might be preferable to standard White Sox player development.

Bummer. He sure has the build of a dude who looks like he should be throwing mid 90's.

I'm on the Nelson bandwagon. I think he might go earlier than 81 though.

Price works at a snails pace.- Sawx @ Sox, May 2nd, 7:10pm CT
Nice job getting out of it. Need some economical innings going forward please.- Sawx @ Sox, May 2nd, 7:10pm CT
This could go to shit quickly. Cmon Gio!- Sawx @ Sox, May 2nd, 7:10pm CT
Damage coming on the fastball though.- Sawx @ Sox, May 2nd, 7:10pm CT
This changeup is nasty so far.- Sawx @ Sox, May 2nd, 7:10pm CT
Gio at 95 and 96.- 5/2 Games
Here's hoping Lambert keeps trucking along. Could really use a solid pitching prospect other than Cease right now.- 5/2 Games
CHA: TBD! BHAM: Lambert W-S: Parke KAN: McClure https://www.milb.com/scores/whitesox/2019-05-02 https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/prospects/stats/affiliates- 2019 MLB draft thread
Yea. I'm all in with the Nelson prediction. Walking too many, but strikeouts a boatload. More upside than your typical college pitching prospect in that second round range. Could be a starter, but if not the stuff would be more than enough in the pen. He also has dorky glasses and a neckbeard, so I can relate to him more.- 2019 MLB draft thread
I had been joking about Logan Wyatt being the pick earlier in this thread. Certainly fits the criteria. Tommy Henry is also a good suggestion. I think his stock has dropped lately though from some bad performances maybe? I think I'm going to go with Ryne Nelson as my prediction. Here's BA's scouting report. He's generally ranked in the 40 to 50 range currently. - Sawx @ Sox, May 2nd, 7:10pm CT
