Oh man. I didn't realize it was a Coppolella piece.

First Pipeline mock. https://www.mlb.com/milb/news/mlb-pipeline-2026-mock-draft-may-7?t=mlb-draft-coverage Lombard would be such a scary pick to make. Dude could be the best player in the draft when all is said and done, or he might never make it out of A ball.

Made it onto Made the Cut.

Keith Law mock 1.0. 👀 https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7255697/2026/05/07/mlb-mock-draft-2026-grady-emerson-chicago-white-sox/

McDougal is shut down for weeks at minimum. Flexor strain.

What a soft little boy.

Shoulda charged the mound.

I think I agree. I'd like the strikeout rate to come down, but is he going to be forced to do that in High-A when he can just a hit a dinger every other game?

Good sign.

Do it. Colson too.

Finishing the game late, but holy moly is Davis Martin a pleasure to watch. What a performance.

I cant imagine anyone who watched Hagen's outing yesterday saying "this is a guy we should call up ASAP!"

It was only a concern to folks who don't know much about the draft, or if they have a narrative to weave it into.

Bonemer on the BA hot sheet again. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/ranking-the-20-hottest-mlb-prospects-hot-sheet-5-4-26/

Signability is not a concern in the slightest for anyone they draft at 1.1. No one is turning down a new record bonus of 10+ million dollars. Not an issue in any capacity.

Wasn't expecting that lol.

Bruh.

Romo and Teel for sure.

That's not fun. 🥲
