This is true. Singer has nowhere near the control issues that Carson did. Carson was always effectively wild in college. Very different pitchers.

He really hasn't been linked to the Sox in any of the draft scuttlebutt at all. I think BA had the Sox taking him in one mock this entire draft season? Keeps coming back to Singer/Madrigal. Who knows though, seems like they have been playing it close to the vest in recent years.

That's not too outlandish. He's pretty divisive. Fangraphs has him 13th. Law has him ranked even worse I believe. I think the best I've heard regarding Collins is he could be a Carlos Santana type and catch every now and then.Most people know how underwhelmed I am with Singer. Would feel a lot better if he was sitting mid 90's regularly, but I haven't seen much of that this season. The secondaries don't overwhelm me either. I'm 100% on the Madrigal train.
