Keith Law's Top 100 for 2020
When Law went from ESPN to The Athletic, was that a step up or a step down?

I don't see how pitch framing works?
Yesterday I'm at the brand new Spring Training facility of the Braves, and it is spectacular, and I am walking around the park well before game time. While looking down into the Braves' bullpen, there is a Coach feeding balls into a pitching machine throwing not to a hitter, but to young catchers who are obviously working on their framing technique. Never saw the drill done that way before.

White Sox Spring Training Thread
If Grandal is hitting Lead Off, he won't be the on base machine that he was hitting in the bottom third of a National League lineup.

Most Memorable Sox Game You've Attended?
Game 2 of 1959 World Series. It started off with singer Tony Martin botching the National Anthem. Before the game there was controversy over where Dodger wives would sit, because Sox fans harassed them so much in Game 1. Wally Moon made great decoy play in left to cut down Sherm Lollar at plate. Earlier, Al Smith got the "Beer Bath" in left. Sox lost something like 4-2. MVP Larry Sherry got his first save.

Anyone else here questioning the stopwatch or the stopwatcher?

Yes.

OF Prospects - Who will Rebound in 2020?
Sure, Jon. That's why BoSox gave him up as the third player in the trade. 5 Tool.

FS: top-30 week FULL LIST
Last year Yolbert Sanchez and Ben Bailey were teammates in the DSL. Bailey had vastly superior numbers. Bailey was 17, Sanchez was 22. Naturally, Sanchez is ranked 12 spots higher than Bailey. Every other team would love to get their hands on Bailey; Sanchez, not so much. I don't get it. Bailey should be Top Ten material, or at least those two should be switched.

FS: Top-30 week: 16-30
So, we have two pitching prospects with serious lat injuries. Do these come from throwing or weight lifting?

KW says "no Puig"
Just curious, what is the statute of limitations on speeding?

Sox Have Deal for Norge Vera - 2020 Class
How can a deal be in place if we can't draft him until July 2? Why can't another team draft him ahead of Sox?

Nick Madrigal will have a shot at being the Opening Day 2b
Do you know the difference between left field and right field, or are just re-defining them?

FS: All About the Benyamin
If he looks good in ST, I hope he starts the season in Kanny.

FS: Jake Burger: Forgotten, but not (yet) gone
You're right about Pratto, but I looked at the 6 guys drafted right after Burger, and the other 5 look like great prospects. I admit I am just a Monday QB here, just second guessing the pick, but it is still a lousy pick. I can't remember who I wanted back in June, 2017; it was probably someone taken before Burger. Still, it was a terrible draft choice.

I'm glad they mentioned Ben Bailey at #22.

White Sox Top Prospects (Where do they start?)
For whatever reason, I think Sheets is a big time late bloomer. I hope I'm right.

Kris Bryant loses grievance
Boatload?? slight exaggeration. A fair trade, but not in the boatload category.

Kris Bryant loses grievance
Good post, but if Cubs had tried to extend KB, which they very well might have, his agent would have turned it down. Not that I am trying to defend the Cubs. I personally believe that Cub fans of any age should be distraught. I also love the extensions.

What do you expect from Eloy in 2020?
He's our stud. Put him at #4 in the lineup and fill in around him.

ESPN looking to remove Jessica Mendoza from Sunday Night Baseball
Mendoza giggles way too much. Whether she was paired with Aaron Boone or A-Rod, it was just a constant stream of giggles.

Offseason 2019-2020 MLB Catch All Thread
Yes, there should be a floor. The NBA has one, but it is just a tad below the cap. I think a floor in today's dollars of $75ish million would be appropriate. This will be negotiated with next CBA.
