You got that right. The remark is blatantly racist, and it was intentional. If they don't fire him, they should at least suspend him. Smith has said outrageous things before, but he hit a new level here. However, he is probably getting pats on the back from his brethren. ESPN loves to play with the political football, however, with their unique kind of double standard. Just to keep my comments here on baseball, the dude (Ohtani) is one helluva player.

He doesn't take BP on the field in the cage. He still takes it down below.

Catcher is a position of opportunity for White Sox.

When do the TV interviews start?

Jack, we don't know that. They might have been even worse with a full 2020 season.

Jimmy, how would you compare Montgomery to Kath, since they are both infielders?

Harold, what happened to Luke Leto? Haven't heard his name much lately.

Scouts probably loved him to the extent that they overlooked stats, etc. Reminds me of when they drafted Anderson.

Yermin starting to hit.

I'm so glad we have Anderson, and they have Baez.

That's what often results. GM's get together for 3 days, with maybe an agent or two thrown in, and stuff happens.

Makes no difference. Should we make this retroactive, and award a W to all starting pitchers who ever left the game after at least 5 innings while ahead in the score, only to have a subsequent relief pitcher give up the lead? The qualifications for a W are etched in stone, and that stone is way over 100 years old.

So who are they use they supposed to give the W to?? Cease? No, because once the score got tied after he left, he is no longer involved. Ruiz? I don't think so. Foster? No, because he got the save. Can't get both the Save and the Win. The system they have makes perfect sense, but you do not.

He was pitcher of record when Sox went ahead. End of story.

Cuz he did not try to kill her.

Three guys I DON'T want traded: Kopech, Crochet, and Burger. Period, paragraph.

Beckham probably scrolled thru SoxTalk before he got on the air.

Yes, the only blip was that trip to Houston.

I think Burger makes Lamb expendable. Lamb was there to provide relief for Moncada.

Thank you, son.

Takin' care of business. (Great song)

Not that tough of a job.

Silver Slugger, for sure.
